Calling this place clean is an absolute joke. I took my family with two small kids to visit family. We chose this hotel because it had an outdoor pool. Upon checking in, we were told it's closed for the weather. It was beautiful, sunny 85 degrees. Absurd, so after complaining they did remove the padlocks. The pool was lovely but that's the only high light of the stay. I wouldn't bathe my kids in that bathroom. Everything stunk. The walls are paperthin, so I could hear people yelling all night. AND the a/c was moldy. We left ASAP that morning. Complained to the front desk and she could care less.
The hotel is clean and nice in a good area. They have a bar, iHop and a steak house on premises.
However, there were a couple of things we did not like. For example, it would be nice to have a bar of soap or handwash at the bathroom sink to wash your hands and a bathmat to stand on when you get out of the shower. I almost fell.
I also asked for extra towels and the towels were gray which was gross. When the towels can no longer be bleached white take them out of rotation.
Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and will stay again next year when visiting family. This is our 2nd stay.
We arrived around 9pm. We were checking into 3 rooms, and just traveled for about 14 hours. I was nervous as we pulled up because the building looked so dated. The lady checking us in was wonderful, kind and helpful. The lobby was dated, seemed clean, but had a strong odor of air freshener. We each received our room keys and walked to our second floor rooms. The carpet was dirty, old and the hallways smelled as we made our way. The building was just so dated and unkempt. As I opened my door a roach crawled across the floor. I immediately stepped on it and kept going as I didn't want my grandchild or husband to see it. We were exhausted and there was no turning back at this point. In one of the other rooms there were no towels. It almost looked like the room had not been cleaned. The tub didn't appear dirty, but dated with rust stains. So much so, that even though the hotel made us feel like we need to take a shower, the thought of taking one there was not appealing. My family just looked at me because I have always been so good at hotel selections. Until now. Other than the nice lady checking us in, everything else was a disappointment.
Property was not kept up. It wasn’t clean and did not have lightbulbs or hand soap available in the rooms. It was way over priced for such terrible accommodations. There was also an odor in the hallways. Just gross

The staff was amazing! My room was dirty and the front desk person came and cleaned the dirty parts herself because she could not find a housekeeper.
The price was very high for the outdated room that was right next to the laundry, vending machines, and ice machines.
