The only good thing was the price and location. I checked in very late, which I understand. The hotel clerk was visibly asleep in a chair with doors to lobby locked. First room he gave me was on the first floor, which I liked as a solo female traveler. The key didn’t work and it appeared the room was already occupied. Then he said he wrote the wrong room number down. Second room, 1st floor.. key didn’t work. Third room was on 2nd floor. There was no lock on the door, no phone and huge palmetto bugs crawling around. I had to go BACK to the lobby, and the clerk was asleep again. The 4th room was now on the 3rd floor. I had to walk up exterior stairs in the dark, alone. The room was bare bones and obviously recently quickly renovated. Nothing on the walls, no iron, no hair dryer and only 1 small bar of soap. By this time, I had 8 hours before I had to checkout and was charged a $100 deposit. NEVER AGAIN!

The exterior of the property was in need of serious cleaning and repairs. Every place we walked around the building and in the hallways had a strong smell of weed. The grassy area behind the building was covered in hundreds of piles of dog feces. The room was ok but we won't stay here again.
