Room has seen better days!!!!!

We had no heat for the first day and night. Heat was finally turned on the next day after multiple requests for heat. Room temp was 55 degrees. The room has seen better days. Wallpaper peeling, very musty smell as soon as you open the door, stains on everything include the shower curtain and tub.

Easy to park and check in. Walk up window for motel guest check in. The woman was friendly and got us an extra pillow and came to our room to make sure we had heat. The room was out dated, bathroom clean. I felt like I was sleeping in my grandmother's basement. Has a comfortable bed. A little more attention to cleanliness wouldn't hurt. Over all a good inexpensive place to stay if you don't plan to spend a lot of time in the room. Basically we were only there to sleep. Got there at 7:30 pm left at 8:30 am. Decent value and the parking lot and every room were full.

I arrived much earlier than the check-in time and was told to come back later. I agreed to do that when the girl said that there was one room at the end of the rooms that had already been cleaned so i could have that room and gave me the key. I have stayed at this motel at least 8-10 times and the room I was given yesterday was absolutely abysmal in comparison, to the point that I question whether this end room was even meant to be used for guests. The curtain was missing hanger hooks so that I had to climb on a chair to improvise to close them; a refrigerator and a microwave were stacked against a back wall, neither plugged in and no outlet available,, also the air conditioner was not functional;; the Venetian blind in the bathroom was ripped and the tub was stained; pieces of the wall were broken and filthy. I was unable to do anything about this horror show because I was met by 3 other friends, all of whom had decent accommodation, at this same motel,, and we were late for our previously scheduled meals and theatre productions. If this review strikes as unbelievable, I will be happy to provide photographs. Pieces of the wall were broken and filthy.

It’s an old motel which has not been renovated much probably since the 60’s or 70’s. Bathroom was nice with new tile. Beds were hard with springs poking up. Mildew odor as well. No working refrigerator. Room had an old combination range - refrigerator that doesn’t work and likely a safety hazard. Would be a gem if the owner would invest in renovations!

I’ve stayed in quite a few budget accommodations in southwestern Massachusetts over the past few years – this one wins the prize as the least appealing. Its exterior is rundown, unkept but was hoping the room was not. The door deadbolt only worked from The inside so I could only lock the knob. The door (pictured) was filthy, the carpet and windows dirty, the furnishings, old and worn out, the bed just OK. Bath was clean and recently retiled but the tub was dirty. These problems may be unique to room 9 but unlikely.

Wouldn't recommend, not clean & in disrepair!

It had dust on the chairs, window sills had lead paint chips, bedspreads too big and hanging on the floor, lamp shades broken and hanging crooked from the walls! The wallpaper was falling off the walls! There were many things that could have been easily fixed & rust spots on the heat vent. The fridge, microwave, and shower pressure were good. My husband took videos not photos.

We didn't stay. The place was terrible. Wallpaper was stained and very old falling off the wall. The entrance door had stains running down the inside. No ceiling light just wiring hanging. Window were never painted and they are raw wood that is dirty and mold growing. Windows would not open. The entrance door was unfinished and the jamb was unfinished and had no striker plate and the deadbolt would not close as it did not line up properly and there was no striker plate. The ceiling had stains on it. The bath was dirty and stained. We didn't open the bed and did not want to sleep in the bed after seeing what the unit looked like. We just left and went elsewhere and told the woman working there that we were leaving and cancel our reservation. The outdoor furniture had dirty black stains and was supposed to be white. We didn't take any photos as we just left quickly. This place is very close to Tanglewood and the owner does not care as they get reservations because of the proximity. If you can please let me know how to go about getting a refund I would appreciate it. Thanks

We always enjoy our stay here because of its location to our venue, eating options and the customer friendly owners. It is a bit dated in its interior design, but a clean room wih a clean bed and working shower is our goal. They deliver.

Inflated Motel Rating

This motel is rated at 6.8 which was a reason I booked it, but the rating in my opinion is not representative of the relatively poor condition it was in. Furniture was worn, inadequate lighting with one light that had switch taken out so only way to turn it on and off was to plug and unplug it. Mini fridge disconnected (to save electricity I assume). Check out time 10 AM, which apparently was main concern of front desk clerk (or or owner).

Just what we needed.

This was an adequate affordable quick overnight stop for our family. We didnt expect anything flashy. They offered coffee, cereal and bananas on the outdoor deck in the morning. The air conditioner was able to quiet any highway sounds
