There is lots of green jungle inside the hotel, very cool to see lots of monkeys, racoons and other animals freely moving through the resort. Food was ok, resort is huge so there is a lot of walking. Pools for all styles, calmed and party. Nice long lazy river. Beach was full of seaweed so we could not enjoy it.

My wife and I enjoyed the trip to this location. The food was good, but not great. They had multiple options and most of the food was good. The staff was beyond great and friendly all over the resort. The resort was clean and kept up. The bad: 1. It is almost impossible to get a reservation at one of the restaurants, which leaves you eating at the buffet. The reservations seem to all get taken by "members" who scoop up all the reservations. This happens because the resort does not have the staff to operate all restaurants each night. They shut down half to operate the other half, which is why no one but members can get reservations. 2. Our room was not hot per se, but it was definitely not cold. It was luke warm in our room. Once you are out in the sun or get a sun burn and try to sleep at night it is impossible, you will sweat. This was for building 11. A friend of ours was booked in building 15 and they said they were frozen out every night. I tried 3 times while staying to get our A/C looked at and no one would come out to fix it or look at it. 3. Bartenders are not bartenders at this resort. You are stuck with whatever employee they have available to mix you a drink and that leads to inconsistent drinks that never taste the same from order to order. One would taste great and the next would taste too sour to even drink. 4. You are stuff with all off-brand liquors, brand name liquors are for....you guessed it...members only.

Like: spacious rooms with AC, excellent food and diverse restaurants options, swimming pools bars and coffee Tostado, Mixology bar (Manuel is excellent!), lazy river, pickleball courts, concierges Erik and Derek, Expedia local support Karen, nice shows at the Sunset bars, Spa. Didn't like: some pressure to became "Ultimatum member" by concierges as need to contact them to book restaurants, one night with high noise close to my room to build an elevator, (moving pallets after midnight and starting at 7:15am) solved next day, improper beach and bad smelling because of sargasso, Mandarim bar heavily hot, (please provide ventilators to this area), Disco isolated and too far to use it like the Spa and the Gym.

Staff were incredible - Oswaldo, Diego, and Joel helped us and made our stay great! Breakfast at Lindo - far better than the buffet…black sheep bartenders were great and food was good. A few things to work on for the hotel: Spoons in ice cream shop (missing for 5 nights??) Bathroom lights go dark while showering - danger A/C was up and down the entire trip Plumbing issues in two different suites Curtains fell off the window…couldn't use them so didn’t use the balcony. Empty restaurants - it was weird no openings for reservations and only availability was always 545pm …but when at a la cart restaurants they were empty??? I think I have this figured out as I started asking questions regarding the wrist bands…the colors were for what you booked through…but it’s like a “caste” system…your color determined your status in some ways…depending on your color band “black” We asked the hotel to refund our first night due to issues all night and moving twice before finding a room that was working on all normal levels. They pointed to Expedia for the refund…no accommodating just finger pointing. Once we settled we tried to find the positives in everything we did at the resort…it was a challenge! As always the people made the difference…and while guest services offered a massage if we didn’t review…I declined…but felt they were in a bad situation since they don’t own the hotel just trying to keep everyone happy. I will not return or recommend…spend your hard earned money elsewhere

Our vacation had a bit of a stressful start, when we arrived to check in the resort's system said our stay had been cancelled 3 hours prior to our arrival. I contacted Expedia immediately and even though it was 9pm on a Friday I got a hold of them right away. The Expedia rep immediately contacted the resort to resolve the problem, it turned out to be a glitch with the system at the resort. Once the problem was resolved we were able to check in and get our room, the AC worked very well in our room. The Expedia team Edgur, Nery and Karen checked on us daily to make sure there were no issues and even upgraded our dinner on our last night to the lobster dinner and sent us chocolate covered strawberries and champagne free of charge. My only main complaint would be the buffet food, don't get me wrong it was delicious but when we booked we had been told that the buffet does theme nights and when we arrived we were told they don't do that anymore which was disappointing because it was the same food selection every dinner. We loved the Japanese A la carte. Our server at the buffet Omar was amazing he made our daughter's birthday one to remember, he decorated our table and made our napkins look like candles. He was so attentive and we never had to ask for a drink refill. Omar and the Expedia team both got a cake for our daughter's birthday so she got 2 cakes and the live Entertainment sang happy birthday and got the whole restaurant involved, She told us it was the best birthday ever.

We were looking for a relaxed resort, with a great beach, lush greenery, access to good food and drinks, and that's exactly what we got, plus more!! As an Expedia guest, we were welcomed by Juan (his job is solely to make sure Expedia guests have a great experience). The lobby and grounds are beautiful. Our room was clean, could use a few touch ups from their recent construction. Food was great. Made dinner reservations on the app (heard they book up fast), which was a bit clunky, recommend having the numerous concierges set up your reservations for you. We had some questions on reservations one evening, and Eduardo (F&B Manager) took care of us, immediately. He remembered us 2 nights later, walked with us a bit and made sure we were happy! We also had Juan (Expedia guy) stop in at our dinner on the 2nd night, to do a 48 hour check in, WOW!!! I've never had that personalized follow up before. We enjoyed the beach, pools, bars, caught a show, and I utilized my Free Spa time, and discounted massage you get booking through Expedia. As we checked out, we met Eric (another dedicated Expedia guy!) he sat down and chatted with us, and made sure we had a terrific time. Incredible customer service Eduardo, Juan, Eric, and many others. The resort, service and people were amazing, we were very pleased with our time at Grand Sirenis. We plan on going back again very soon with friends and family!

We’ve been here a few times and oh wow has it changed. Pros: We love the lazy river. It’s amazing. Food has significantly increased in quality over the last time. Lobby has gone through a complete refresh, some of the rooms look slightly updated. Cons: AC in our room just wouldn’t get cold. We had a travel fan which saved our lives but no matter how many times we called, no one ever showed up to fix it or even to give us feedback that they tried. If it was any hotter in our room, I think we would have moved hotels almost unbearable. Room had small little ants in it, they were everywhere. Honorable People Mentions: Natan and William in the lobby bar were awesome! Entertaining and just good people to be around. Go see them!

We loved all the wildlife at the resort. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is so much to do at the resort. We will definitely be back. Also, Karen with Expedia was always around and very helpful with any of our questions. We would return just because she was so great!

Room flooded after 2 hours they sent someone after argued to change rooms.they gave us a room with broken bed and ac didnt work next day went and complained they upgraded us to a room with a view but only if i sighned a release form cuz my wife had fallen and hit her head at check out asked to speak to a manager in charge they told me i would have to go to the other side of resort very poor service will never come back plus we payed 2700 dollars for my fiftith birthday and all food was cold hope this helps someone with making a better decision than this place good luck all 30 people in my party will never come back thanks for a horrible stay

Grand Sirenis has everything you could possibly want out of a resort! The amount of value you get for your money is amazing! This truly is a full all inclusive - the food, the drinks, the entertainment, the amenities. I would highly recommend booking through expedia they treated us with such hospitality and even included a special cocktail hour for expedia members. Eric, Karen, Natan, Edgar and everyone on their team were so welcoming and accommodating especially to our friend who had a major allergy! Cannot recommend enough! 15/10

We booked for 6 days- AI, it was amazing. Great food options, bars, clubs, pools, and activities! We were able to walk every where in resort without a shuttle. Erik from guest services made sure we had dinner reservations for the night and that everything was to our liking. I recommend this place for families, couples, or any kind of group, there is something for everyone. Another plus was public transportation was just a short 7 min walk to main road and very cheap to get around city. There is lots of wild life, lots of trees, and an amazing beach. 10/10!!!

We enjoyed our stay our room did smell musty/moldy from some sort of previous water damage. Bed not comfortable at all. Pretty resort and friendly staff

I have a great experience at Grand Sirenis. They gave me a warm welcome in the first day I check in. Staffs are very friend and very helpful especially their online booking team. Erik keep just checking on us and help us with dinner reservation. He is very friendly and very nice. I love this place. They are busy but I barely bump into people because they are very spread, very quiet very relaxing.

This was an Amazing Stay! Everyone was so nice, Food and Drinks were five stars! Customer service by hotel staff was fire stars as well! We created so many wonderful memories!ur room was nice and big! We loved the BBQ on the beach!!! We will definitely be back!!!

We really enjoyed our week at Grand Sirenis. The staff would go above and beyond to help you and assist you with any any question. The restaurant's were clean and the food was very good as well as the service. Big pools, scenic property with lush rainforest throughout. The Beach was good but small but had a good snorkeling area with clear water and nice reefs and tropical fish.
