I had a group of 25 stay April 13-15. The hotel generally was fine. But the restaurant--- On arrival, they desk recommended we dine as a group in the hotel restaurant Connie's On Tap. We had made plans for the first night but I opted to take the 25 people to the hotel restaurant option on 03/14/25. We called first. We were told they could accommodate us. That was the first error. There was one server / bartender and one cook on. They should never have agreed to take us and I would have happily gone elsewhere. Most of us waited nearly two hours after sitting to even get a drink delivered (not even a plastic cup of water). And the food was HORRIBLE. Nachos made with doritos and maybe cheeze wiz? French fries had zero flavor. We got our food and drinks after 2 hours. I would have walked but part of my group was served so we felt stuck. In the end, the server complained about how he wasn't prepared for a group. It soured the entire day for my group which was traveling to do service projects during an alternative spring break. The hotel should either intervene into the restaurant or not recommend it.

Front desk staff was bery friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy. Shower is nice. Pool was very dirty, we lost a pair of goggles to the bottom and could not find them. While we were searching we saw so much hair and little pieces of paper. Hot tub was hot but foamy indicating not often cleaned. Fan in the bedroom was so loud we could barely hear the TV.

Traveled home for bereavement with my family. Started in Queen suite. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Indoor pool was opened (which we needed). Exercise room was ok. Breakfast was good. The property of very clean. I had the option to stay in Albany or Schenectady as well. I choose this location to be away from all family& friends due to the reason of our travels. I needed a quiet place, relaxing, and comfortable place. This place was what I needed. It's close to Wolf Road & Central Ave: Colonie Center & all eateries and business . 10 minutes from Crossgates Mall, Walmart Supercenter and highway.

Hotel was half renovated. New decor same old appliances. Phone was from the 1900’s very dirty. Toilet had stains. Sink was backed up. Staff was unkind, unfriendly and dishonest!

Better options than this one

we did not end up staying at this resort. This resort tried to downgrade our reservation from a double queen to a single with a pull out cot. they told us that was all they could give us because they were overbooked and we booked through a third-party to make it worse. They didn’t contact our third-party to reach out to us. Hotels.com was our third-party. They waited until we got there that night and left us scrambling to find a place to stay. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever again instead pay the extra money and stay at a Hilton.

Very nice place, delicious breakfast of cheese omelets pancakes meats and coffee, friendly staff. The only issue was in my room, #100, I was right next to the outside door that slammed shut every time someone walked in or out. Luckily nobody used the door during my slumber or it would’ve scared the beegeesus outa me. Suggesting not to get room 100 if at all possible (it is a king bed if wondering). I would definitely stay here again, just in a queen room.

This hotel was very clean. Room, hallways, lobby and dining area was spotless. Very friendly and kind staff. It was a pleasure staying in such a good hotel after having a few bad experiences with Marriott and Hilton. Highly recommend for whatever purpose of travel!

Perfect Stay

Amazing breakfast with hot choices and variety each day. Egg-cheese omelets one day! Front desk employees are so helpful and kind. Work hard to make things easy on you. Rooms very clean, beds comfortable, convenient location. Been to many hotels in Latham and Holiday Inn Express is no doubt the best for the money.

The breakfast was good. Now for the bad. 1. Too much fabric softener used on linens 2. The smoking of pot was an issue. 3. Outside our window was a rusty water hose reel that should have been somewhere else -but was not. The issue was that the rain dripping off the 6 story roof was landing right on this and making a clanging bell noise all night while it rained. It sounded like a flag pole in the wind. It was the worse sleep we have ever had. The front desk clerk - didn't understand that any of this could be a problem. Too bad.
