The staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Good air conditioner hot water and comfortable bed. Had a comfortable couch that was nice for setting around visiting and watching TV while in the room. Rates were excellent. If I the area again I will definitely be back. I would recommend this to anyone. It doesn't come with a lot of extra bells and whistles to drive up the price. Which is was nice.

The clerk called me to mske sure my wife and I weren't about there because she needed to go to the store right quick.when i did call her back I told her where we were and about how long it would take us to get there. She thanked me for calling her back and letting her know and wished us a safe trip up there. She also put us in a room closer to the office because she thought that it might be possible that some people staying in a room(s) close to where she was first going to put us might get a little rowdy with it being Friday night.

We also have a pleasant stay at the Ranger inn. Nothing fancy just a clean place to stay the night. We will continue to return when visiting Alva. Rita, the manager, is wonderful!

Great little motel for cheap

Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of hot water and shower water pressure. Staff was very friendly and informative. Inexpensive, too -- can't beat it for the $65/night I paid.
