This hotel is an architectural masterpiece in a fantastic location. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My room was stunning with a canal view and a dreamy bathroom. I love the Green Stay option. I’ll definitely be returning!

Everything a good hotel should be including the sensitive adaptation of a 1913 commercial building into a lovely comfortable hotel. The original art nouveau/art deco fittings were a treat, as well as the sympathetic room decor. a pleasure to stay in.

Historic beauty, modern comfort

I was warmly greeted in this stunning art deco hotel. My room absolutely exceeded my expectations, it was very large, very clean, and well appointed. We enjoyed drinks and snacks in the charming bar, and breakfast was fresh with many options, and made to order eggs in addition to the generous buffet. Located within a short walk to the Central station, I could get anywhere I wanted to in minutes. We had gone by the hotel earlier on a boat tour where it was pointed out as being a local architectural marvel, and it wasn’t until later that I realized I got to stay there!

Great room and breakfast!

The room and bathroom were a good size. The fridge was stocked with complimentary water and sodas. On this trip we stayed at several hotels and this was the only hotel where the glasses were clean. Actually, they were spotless. Breakfast included a wide variety of food and you could order from a list of egg dishes including eggs Benedict and omelettes.
