The air conditioning/heat thermostat should be fixed. The walk up bathroom can't be changed, but it's annoying and possibly physically dangerous.

Cozy Hotel in the Heart of Ann Arbor

We often stay here for trips to Ann Arbor as you can walk to everything. You can get valet, we just park in residential parking 5 min walk north of the hotel. We stayed in room 309, top floor in the west corner. Room was quiet. Comfortable bed. It looks like the shower was recently renovated and was quite nice. My only issue was that for my shower both last night and this morning, the hot water took about 5 minutes of running before it got hot, so some water waste. Everything else was fantastic. Amazing service, everything was clean, and the cookies in the lobby were tasty. We did not stay for breakfast, but I recall enjoying their breakfast during previous stays. Overall, we’ll continue to stay here in the future.

For the steep price of this property, I didn’t appreciate the time waiting for the front desk, the minimal toiletries in the room unless you asked for them. Breakfast was nothing special. If they are going to share so much, they need to improve their service.

Room was petite but perfect! Super comfy bed and quiet building! Home made pastries for breakfast, nice touch…. but walking out the door being directly on campus is priceless! sold!

There is a $30 charge for parking that is not mentioned on Expedia. The rooms are outdated. Our bathroom door was broken and did not close. The staff was wonderful and the location is great.

Great location! Easy walkability to U Michigan campus and nearby shops and businesses. Rooms were clean and standard, no fridge. The water pressure was extremely poor making showering a challenge. Breakfast was good.
