On vaikea sanoa, mihin taivas ja vuoret päättyvät ja mistä Villa Nirvana (taivas) alkaa tässä keskisadan modernissa talossa, joka on suunniteltu rauhalliseen, nykyaikaiseen vuoristoelämään.

Asuensa 3000 jalkaa hehtaarilla koskemattomia metsäalueita, Villa Nirvana sopii yhteen elävän luonnon ja äärettömän taivaan kanssa, virtaavilla hikkorilattialla, läpikuultavilla taivasinisinillä seinillä ja tyylikkäillä puukalusteilla.

Hienostuneessa tyylikkäässä keitaan, siemaile kahviasi aamulla aurinkohuoneessa katsomalla pitkän kantaman näkymää Pohjois-Carolinan Blue Ridge -vuorille ja 60 mailin päässä Tennesseessä sijaitseville Smoky-vuorille. Illalla keitä tyylikäs ateria täysin varustetussa keittiön keittiössä tai kaasubaarilla Sky-kannella, ruokaile sitten tanskalaisen vintage-pöydän ääressä tai ulkona erittäin mukavilla kiesitiloilla. Paahta rakkaitasi lasillisella viiniä auringon laskiessa ja yöhuovalla Villa Nirvanaa. Imettele sitten maagista Hendersonville-näkymää, joka kuohui kuin etäisyyden valonkoru.

Upean päivän tutkiessamme kiehtovaan Länsi-Carolinan ympäristöömme, liu'uta sänkyyn puhtaissa valkoisissa liinavaatteissa lähetyssaarnaan kuningatar-sängyssä makuuhuoneessa tai vintage-mahonki-erillisvuoteista vierashuoneessa. Aamuisin heräät virkistyneenä ja nuoremmaksi vaaleanpunaiselle ja vesille auringonnousulle yksityisen parvekkeesi ulkopuolella.

Aamiaisen jälkeen hyppää autoosi ja lyhyen ajomatkan päässä tulet viehättävään Hendersonville-kaupunkiin, jossa on ensiluokkaisia leipomoja ja ravintoloita sekä viehättäviä kauppoja. Toinen kaksikymmentäkolmekymmentä minuuttia ja olette Ashevillessä, joka tunnetaan kulinaarisesta viileästään indie-musiikkimaailmastaan ja vertaansa vailla olevista antiikkikaupoista ja käsityöyhteisöstä.

Olemme huomanneet, että Villa Nirvana on loistava laukaisualusta, josta tutustua Biltmore Vanderbilt Estate -tilaan ja sen majesteettisiin kohteisiin, jakaa juomaa The Grove Park Inn -hotellissa (rakennettu vuonna 1913 graniittikivistä) massiivisilla tulisijoillaan ja upealla vuoristomaisemalla, risteile upea Lure-järvi hienossa ponttoniveneessä, vaellu ja ui vesiputouksissa Blue Ridge -vuoristossa.

Kuvitteellinen ja leikkisä sen vuosisadan puolivälin modernissa suunnittelussa, tule oleskelemaan muutaman päivän tai muutaman viikon ajan Villa Nirvana -hotellissa ja rakastu samalla tavalla kuin teimme seesteisen vuoristoalueen, lumoavien auringonlaskujen ja auringonlaskujen sekä posh-retro-tyylin kanssa.

Staying here was just perfect for my husband and me. The house was bright and cheery, decorated in with all Mid-Century Modern furniture and amenities. Life, Look, and Saturday Evening Post period magazines were fun to browse through. This cabin’s main attraction, though, is the wrap around deck and screened porch. The panoramic view is truly amazing. Barbara, the hostess, was very responsive to my questions. 10 stars out of 10!

30th Wedding Anniversary

Property was true to the listing. The view from the deck is absolutely amazing. We stayed for seven days. If you plan properly and stock up on supplies, you'd never have to leave the place with the views and amenities located in the house. Lots of older magazines to peruse and such a chic vibe with all the decorating and furniture. The place is so relaxing and inviting.Although we could have been perfectly content never leaving the premises... the wife and dog did some hiking at Dupont State Forest while I explored the park on my mountain bike. On the bike... Rocky Ridge, Big Rock, and Ridgeline trails are must do rides. If you only have time for one ride, hit Ridgeline. That trail is like riding a Speeder Bike on Endor. We also visited some waterfalls at the Park. The Park is about 20 minutes away.We also enjoyed the attached tiny neighboring property on the table by the grill on the deck. "Villa Squirrelvana" is highly entertaining. Just set a few peanuts (provided by the host) on the table, go inside the house, and wait. It doesn't take long for the squirrels to arrive.

Wonderful Second Visit

Totally fine for us, and I'm sure some people would love it

The house was nice, but definitely musty/moldy smelling if you're sensitive to that. There wasn't anywhere to take a walk from the house without driving. The view from the deck is spectacular, with neighbors on either side. The deck didn't seem safe for younger kids, and the railing was wobbly (not a problem for us, just a heads-up for families). The decor is nice. I could see this place being a great fit for some people, maybe if you're throwing a dinner party or weekend with that kind of vibe. We ended up leaving early since we live in the area and weren't enjoying it more than a weekend at home. Hosts didn't do anything wrong, and the listing was accurate, we just realized that for a mountain stay to be nice for us, we want walks from the house, a nice bathtub or hot tub, and fresh air.

Great Place!

I would give this property 20 stars if I could. It is absolutely beautiful. The view is amazing and never gets old. The kitchen is well stocked. Everything was super clean. This was a very comfortable place to stay. The location was good for us. We did a lot of hiking so some days we had a longer drive than others. It was always nice to come back, relax, put something on the grill for dinner and enjoy a glass of wine. Barbara's communication was great. Directions and check in/out was easy. There was a lot of information on things to do in the area. We will definitely stay here again!!

Perfect Vacation house

This is our second trip. The house and host could not be any more accommodating! Everything you could possibly need is in the house and the host is very receptive including the warm welcome of a bottle of wine and thank you note. Lives up to its name

I hesitate to give this perfect getaway the review it deserves: because I don’t want it to get too popular. As frequent guests of this mountain escape, we always regret leaving. From the eclectic furnishings, extremely clean, cozy interior to the fantastic views, this has become our go to place for a true getaway. Weekend Away

We enjoyed our weekend away with friends! The house was beautiful, and the view was spectacular! We enjoyed cocktails on the deck before venturing out and going to Flat Rock Playhouse for a musical. The house was perfect! I would stay there again!

Barbara is a superb host who has provided more amenities, thoughtful provisions, and comforts than can be described here, and all done in a beautiful location. The mid-mod furnishings, right down to the Saturday Night Post and Life magazines from the era, make of the house a virtual time capsule. Peaceful mountaintop villa!

We loved our time at Villa Nirvana! The home has everything you could possibly need for your vacation. It was decorated with love, and lots of room to spread out. Kitchen had everything you’d need for cooking your own meals. The record player was a fun addition, with all the vintage vinyl LPs. It was quite windy in the late winter, so we didn’t spend much time out on the decks, but the fireplace was wonderful. The views! Can’t say enough about the gorgeous views of the Smokies, Blue Ridge and Hendersonville! Peaceful and very cool to wake up and see the sun coming up over the farms below. Hendersonville is a great town, with lots of entertaining craft breweries. Hot Dog World was fun, and we enjoyed a barbeque lunch at the Flat Rock Wood Room. The drive to town is only 15 minutes, but it truly feels like you’re a world away. Thanks for sharing your home, and we’d love to return to this piece of heaven on the mountain.

Huge fans of Villa Nirvana!

My entire family loved this wonderful home! The furniture and decor are so cool. All of the vintage magazines were so entertaining. We had some very windy cold weather but still enjoyed the view from the beautiful sun room. We had some absolutely delicious dinners at Postero and Shine in Hendersonville. Shine served some of the best escargot and french onion soup I’ve ever tasted. I do recommend taking the Bear Rock Mountain road. It is much faster getting everywhere. I get a bit car sick and the Pinnacle Road route is longer with much more curves so I was very happy to have another option. We definitely plan on returning to this wonderful property!
