Mosquitoes

Surrounded by rough area. Lots of mosquitoes bite. I knew Greece had lots but this hotel wasn't exceptional. Breakfast was disappointi g after good reviews from others. No hot meals would be provided. I would choose else where if I visit Athens again.

Great hotel in central situation

The staff were very helpful and the place was well looked-after. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked. Breakfast was a good spread, and a nice room to eat it in. Handy for Omonia Square and metro, not far from fantastic central market and about 20 minutes walk from Syntagma. Are around hotel is pretty down-at-heel, but the hotel itself is well looked after and safe, as well as being excellent value. Recommended for value and friendliness especially.

Cheap, good location

I was rather looking forward to taking my wife through this, as described, terrible area with drug users shooting up. Sadly it was a bit run down but that was as exciting as it got. Hotel is ridiculously cheap, good location if you want the metro (it's a 10 min walk to Omonia metro) and not too far from Yiantes (great Greek restaurant). We booked this as we had a 7am ferry the next morning and just needed somewhere to crash. Run by a guy who used to live in Tooting. Really friendly.

Basic Hotel with no luxuries, good location and helpfull&friendly staff.

Very good location, basic breakfast, but cold to sleep in November. There was a machined warming system which pushed air that smelled bad and remote control didn't work. Television was ridiculous and only one channel worked. Best part was free Wifi-connection which worked well most of the time.

At first the area seemed terrible, but we got used to it. And even it was Still looking dirty and guys hanging around the street we were left in peace and nobody seemed to be interested from us. So price vs. guality it was ok.

Pros: situation geographie
Cons: le petit dejeune rien d'extra ordinaire simple et peux de choix qualite des produit juste moyen
Location: quartier tres populaire mais bien il faut aimer et pas etre surpris
facilite a tous les transports pour les deplacements visites des sites, ballades, aeroports. Personnels serviables mais ne parlent pas Francais.

Cher kh,Sur les points positifs : Je suis heureux de lire que vous avez apprécié notre emplacement central.Sur les points négatifs : notre petit-déjeuner est le meilleur que nous puissions faire pour les prix que nous proposons afin d'inclure un petit déjeuner continentalavec le plus de variété possible.Je suis aussi heureux de lire que vous avez trouvé notre personnel utile et permettez-moi d'ajouter que deux d'entre eux parlent suffisamment le français, deux d'entre eux parlent suffisamment l'allemand, deux d'entre eux parlent suffisamment l'espagnol, l'un d'eux parle très bien l'allemand et assez l'italien et tous parlent très bien l'anglais et le grec parfait ! Je crois que cela donne beaucoup de choix à nos invités pour communiquer :)Merci beaucoup de nous avoir choisis.Nous espérons vous accueillir lors de votre prochain voyage!Toujours à votre disposition :)

1 Woche Athen

Wenn man es von aussen betrachtet hat man vielleicht schon seine bedenken, aber innen kann man sich nicht beschweren. Das ganze Personal ist sehr freundlich,es gibt sogar welche mit deutschkentnisse der uns gleich am ersten tag auf den plan alles wichtige eingezeichnet hat.Man hat auch gleich ales in der nähe zb.U-Bahn und sämtliche Verkehrsmittel das man überall hin kommt.Das Zimmer war auch sauber und nur zum Duschen gehen zwischendurch und Schlafen hat es volkommen gereicht.Beim frühstück war auch alles da was gebraucht.Wenn wir wieder nach Athen fahren dann würden wir sicher wieder in dieses Hotel gehen
