Very nice hotel. Only minor grouse is the seating in our stylish room was uncomfortable to sit in. The couch was too firm, and the breakfast noon encouraged one to walk. Older guests like us need something a little softer. As far as locale, HEB being next door is nice, but everything else is a long walk or short drive. Parking is easier if you’re not in a truck 😂.

First the positive: The hotel itself is pretty nice, with large rooms with kitchenettes. It is also in a quiet area with no rooms directly on the busy street. If you need to stay south of downtown, it is a good choice. Now the negative: It does not merit the high cost. It seemed odd to charge over $300/night for an empty hotel with no bar, restaurant or decent neighborhood. The rooms were large, but spare, with little regard to lighting or furniture choices. For that price, I expected a better designed room with nicer furniture and finishes. Bottom line: Good choice if you need to stay in that area, but not worth a trip.
