The view was absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and taking in the natural beauty of the area. The location is also ideal, close to local attractions and easy to get around. While the hotel has a lot of charm, it could use a bit of remodeling to freshen things up. That said, the overall experience was very positive.

Bedroom in Bucksport

Very pleasant staff that appeared to be local. The hotel was very clean and cared for but finishes were definitely dated.

Great view out the window and I slept soundly all night. What more could I want?! I also took the beautiful river walk trail to the local Dunkin’ Donuts in the morning. Was .7 miles from the room and a great way to start the day! Next time I’ll bring my running shoes so I can run the trail in the morning.

too noisy from above and next door

The noise from the floor above was excessive. The stomping on the floor above, the voices next door and above, the noise from room next door all combined for an unpleasant stay. The walls, floor and ceiling appear to be paper-thin. in addition the pillow top mattress is very uncomfortable and painful to sleep on. Please provide pillow tops as an option.

The staff were super accommodating. We were going to be late getting there, so we called and they set it up to where our key cards were accesible after the front desk closed. The room itself was comfortable and clean and the beds were super comfortable. Definitely will be staying here again.

We came into town for a family funeral, and this cozy inn was perfect for our needs. The room was beautiful, the woman at the front desk was friendly and accommodating, and the view was SPECTACULAR!! We'd definitely come back and stay here again, hopefully when it's a little warmer!
