The property is conveniently located and the view of the harbor is beautiful. Staff was helpful. The building is somewhat dated. Most mornings, the hotel ran out of breakfast items and restocking caused some delays. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and quiet.

Front desk personnel were so helpful, but could tell getting hired help was hard because breakfast was hard to keep stocked. But was a great breakfast for a small set-up! After I got to my next hotel on trip, I realized how annoying the faucet at this hotel was. It was a small almost round blob that for old hands just did not work well!! Leaked too. Changing that would mean a lot! All in all a good room and a pleasant visit.

The room was outdated, but met our basic needs. The AC never really cooled the entire room. Breakfast was simple, but the grab and go style made it perfect for us to quickly eat then get an early start in Acadia National Park. Finally, the location of this property was the highlight… it was directly across the street from the Island Explorer (free bus), just a few minutes (driving) to the center of town, and close to Acadia.

Bad expreience!!

Not have ocean view as stated! We were on fhe first floor and all we saw was the building for the ferry to Nova Scotia. Could not contact anyone at hotels.com that would give me a link that would work correctly. And the hotel was $200. cheaper on the day we checked in. The contact link wouldnt work. Wifi kept dropping. Shower pressure was non existant. Carpet was stained badly. Wont stay there again.

This was conveniently located, the driveway is tough to get in and out of as it was on a curve in the road. Had to be very careful. The room was very outdated. The towel racks were falling off the wall. The carpet was gross and everything just needs to be updated. The staff was rarely at the front desk. They ran out of things at the breakfast which didnt have much to begin with. Bar Harbour was our favorite stop, but we are disappointed in th Days Inn Brand.

The room was stinky. The carpets felt like they have never been cleaned before. Bathrooms were terrible. Cramped and lacked ventilation. Everything is dated and requires a overhaul.

Most of the staff were very polite and professional. Several of the front desk staff need more training. Had issues with the key cards not working several times.

The breakfast was free, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal,Jimmy dean sausage sandwich and breakfast bars were great. The walls in the room need a good cleaning or repainted on the inside. The cob webs near the floor by the bed were awful. There was black mold on the walls. Carpets need to be replaced. The broken window in the bathroom washeld together with tape that had bugs stuck tout. The air conditioning was very good. Beds were comfortable.

The property was very old, they didn’t clean our room, the door of the room cannot open well, the breakfast wasn’t good, and the price was super high for what that you get. The only good thing was the walking distance to the city.

Average hotel in a great location

Great location, walkable to downtown Bar Harbor (20minute walk). Below average comfort/rundown hotel for the cost but you are paying for the location. Also only a 5 minute drive to Acadia National Park which was outstanding!
