Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Though this property is old, we enjoyed staying. However, they did not refresh the coffee in our room. I walked up the hill to the office to ask for more coffee and they said they had to deliver it. However, they did not bring what we asked for. They brought coffee bags that don't go into the kind of coffee maker in the room. They did not knock, just left it outside the door. This may seem like a small things, but for us it made our morning less than pleasant.

I had stay at these facilities with my family in the past and used to be way better.. prices have gone up (understandable) but quality has come way down... hotel looked like it hasn't been vacuum for a few month, dust and spider webs everywhere in the kitchen.. I get is a cabin like stay but at least keep it clean. Place was quiet and staff were politeat out arrival, didn't have the chance to walked around property got in late and left early.. after seeing the inside didn't really had a good expectation on the exterior.

Beautiful scenery very nice facilities,spectacular views. Great food in the steakhouse, except that during the meal water started dripping from the ceiling and we had to move tables, no one seemed worried that the ceiling lamp was flickering , probably due to water in the wiring. One area of concern was in the suite rooms , very poor condition, needs a college overhaul, especially considering the price. Broken floor tiles in the bathroom area, rusty metal plate in the toilet area. Glass plate under the tv hadn’t been dusted in weeks. But overall we enjoyed it, not sure we would return unless the rooms are upgraded.

My husband felt the furniture was out dated , old and musty. I felt like it was the whole cabin experience and I really enjoyed it. They have lots of amenities like an activity room, a playground with a grill and a fire pit. Also have a really nice pool and spa. I would definitely go back!
