Hotel was under renovation. The room wasn’t bad. The AC in the room was leaking condensation. Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar was ok. Some equipment wasn’t working and some supplies hadn’t been delivered.

No one takes responsibility for a failed hotel

The hotel was under renovations, vagrants everywhere with no lights on the property. We never checked in. We stay at a hotel in the same shopping center that was fine. I want to be refunded by Hotels.com or Courtyard Marriot and all i am getting is nothing from either one of you. I book through hotels.com for protection and now I have none as you are not refunding my money. Marriot says it up to Hotels.com to refund us. Hotels.com said to go to Marriot. IF this is not resolved I will not use either service or hotels. Note. I have used Marriots for over 40 years and never had such an issue as usually choose them across the country. It is also the first time Hotels.com has refused to help me in this situation. I am really sad by this fact.

Given keys to first room and smell hit like a wall. Got a second room and debated staying. Decided to leave and six year old used the bathroom before leaving. Couldn’t get a refund because they said we used the bathroom and the bed. We were in the room for 5 minutes. Left.

There was construction on the outside of the property. Water was dripping on everyone on one of the side doors from the roof. The staff did not notify us that we could only get our room cleaned every other day. We had to ask for fresh towels & for our trash to get taken out. It was not that bad but definitely not worth the price we paid.

The inside of the hotel was very nice, the rooms were great but they didn’t tell us that they were under construction (facelift) of the outside so it was a little confusing but the stay was great.

There is construction going on at this time - I did not see that mentioned anywhere when I booked. Side door has a leaky A/C unit as you come in and out. Ant problem in 2 of our 3 rooms One of our rooms was only for one night - so we moved everyone over to the other room for a few hours before we headed off to a wedding. (only part of our group was staying two nights) While getting ready for the wedding, we were notified by the front desk that it was our other room that was for two nights (exact same room, right across the hall) and they made us move all of our stuff to the other room. House keeping had just cleaned this room and was getting it ready for new guest. It made absolutely no sense and the front desk staff insisted she could do nothing to change this "because we booked with a third party." Which she mentioned several times.I travel frequently, got a much better rate on hotels.com, and this is the first poor review I am leaving. Our front desk staff on check in was great on Saturday. And the housekeeping was great in the midst of the switch up. I hope to follow up with this hotel management and share specific concerns.
