I enjoyed the friendly people in the area. The scenery is beautiful. The only thing that wasn't pleasant was there is no elevator. We only went up two sets of stairs, so not too awfully bad. My mother has breathing issues, but she managed. We appreciated the warm bed to sleep in.

The first room I was assigned was in a hallway that had a strong odor of food, and was very noisy. The receptionist happily changed my room. She was cheerful and accommodating. We wished the outside doors to the hallways were locked to make it safer.

Do not stay here

I would not recommend this hotel. There is no elevator. We had to try 3 rooms before we had one that had been cleaned or at least looked like it had been cleaned. In the first room, the television did not work, the trash had not been taken out from the last visitor, and the soap had not been exchanged. The second room was not touched by cleaning staff. The sheets were off of the bed. The third room appeared clean, but I question the cleanliness based upon the other two rooms. We decided not to eat breakfast at the hotel since the cleanliness of the rooms was bad. We asked staff to speak to the manager to see if they would offer us a discount. The next morning, we were advised there was nothing they could do.
