Nice cozy place

Nice clean room with wood floors, I brought my dog along, and it was comfy for both of us. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Cute fake fireplace too, for ambiance. Right near a “beach” on the lake which was nice, but a bit rocky and lake water was a bit gross looking there.

Reserved through Expedia. Got to hotel and desk lady said the reservation would take 45 min or so to come through so we should go eat dinner. Came back an hour later and she said, sorry I don’t have any clean rooms. Said a guy wanted a different room and switched and in the meantime a lady came in and took the last room. The desk lady knew we were coming back and had a reservation. Why wouldn’t she make sure to save the last room knowing Expedia was sending it over??

All the amenities are worth it!

Absolutely would have given 5 stars but our cabin was near a busy road. Loved the private beach for bird watching, relaxing and yoga on the dock. The pool was heated and absolutely perfect.

We liked it. First time to Big Bear and we already want to go back. The room was a simple two queen bed room, but meet our needs for just a one night stay. We used the basketball court and would've used the hot tub if we had more time. My kids commented that the pool and hot tub looked clean. We also liked how the property was in walking distance to The Village, where we enjoyed a waffle cone and browsing the shops.

The cabin was very clean. The sofa/bed was very comfortable as was the bed in the bedroom. Lots of windows. Working fireplace. Ample towels. Pool/jacuzzi really nice. Parking easy.Water dispenser, coffee, and ice machine in lobby (only available during lobby hrs). Lake right there. I think the only mild complaint is in regards to the kitchen. The positive is large fridge freezer. . Could use a cutting board and a medium sauce pan. Also no salt/pepper. A small dish drainer in the second sink would also be helpful. These are minor complaints. I would definitely stay there again.

Honestly, a pretty nice stay. We had a broken garbage disposal that was leaking under the kitchen sink. We discovered this 5 minutes into our stay (we were able to check in early). Management and maintenance was on top of it. They didn't have the new disposal so they promptly told us that they'd move us into another room which was made ready/available within the hour. Cabin was spacious enough for 4. Our 3 and 5 year old were able to sleep on the sofa pull out. Cabin is a bit dated in some respects but I think that's part of the charm of the property. Also, they are renovating and building some new units near the pool. A/C in our unit was not working (unit 110) but we didn't bring it up because we were gone for most of the day time. Heater was working and kickin' at night time. We did t cook while there but there was just enough utensils/pots/pans to cook a simple meal. 1 minute walk to the lake. Will most likely stay here again next year.

Big Bear 2025!!

Brand new cabin unit. Everything modern. Clean and great staff on hand. 5 minute walk from convenience store, pizza joint and sporting goods store. Also walking distance to boat rental dock. Fantastic time!

Pros: quite, safe, beautiful, friendly and hospitable check in/out. Gas grills amazing. Cons: ant infestation, nowhere to hang clothes, no room service or fresh towels despite staying there for 3 night (with proper sign displayed) but there was no one to be seen. I guess its by phone request only? Strange.

Could not ask for better location. Stayed in bottom floor lodge room which was a short walk to the edge of the lake. Could also do a 10 min walk to the village or a very short drive. Definitely central location. Room was nice. Newly renovated. However, coffee maker did not work, some ants appeared in bathroom, and housekeeping did not show first night. Amenities were very nice ...water in lobby, fire pit, and pool.hot tub.
