We upgraded to a club room, which was a bit poor considering how much you pay. Just cause you get a fridge with water sparkling water and a mars bar. Bar and restaurant very slow staff are mainly miserable like your an inconvenience breakfast was poor I had to go up 3 times due to nothing been there very slow supplying the top ups juice was empty pancake machine was empty no eggs no bacon. Won’t be stopping here again plus you now have to pay parking which is another negative in my eyes. Towels on the bed had red stains on them and the mattress was rock hard tv kept switching itself off after 5 to 10 mins. If I was asked how much would I pay a night I would say £70.00 tops you don’t get your monies worth. Plus even guests at breakfast was saying how shocking it was and how cold the coffee was and there was nothing there.

Great getaway for couples

Lovely hotel, the facilities were very good and we had a lovely time. We stayed in a club double room and the view was lovely. The only downside was that certain areas of the room looked tired and unloved which gave it a feeling of not being a club room, for the price we paid you’d think it would be immaculate. But we still were impressed with everything else. The room was over all clean and comfortable and warm. We both loved that there was a bath not just a shower

The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I stay at this hotel regularly as it’s a great location for the Merry Hill shopping centre and nightlife. My only negative comment is the hotel is a little dated. They’ve recently added plasma TV’s to the room but removed a big mirror to put the TV. The TV in the room this time kept turning itself off which was really annoying. Also the QR code for the food menu wouldn’t work and there are no menus in the room anymore.
