Nothing to dislike. I knew in advance the hotel was completing renovations, so certain amenities wouldn't be available. My room was in an already renovated section. Beautiful room. Full of light, felt spacious, no chance of bumping into furniture in the dark if you didn't want to turn on a light to navigate to the bathroom. The room had a mini fridge and a coffee maker tucked away. I liked they were out of sight. It made the space feel more welcoming. Comfortable bed, with perfect bedding layers. Water machine next to ice machine in hallway "refreshment room." Pitcher provided in the room so you can get drinking water for your stay. Rather brilliant to have that vs. having some courtesy plastic water bottles in the room. Staff was helpful and courteous throughout my stay. Treated me as a valued guest. I have no doubt this hotel is once again going to be THE gem of Boise once they complete renovations.

It was just ok. I was notified there would be some renovations via email just after i made the booking. Less than 48 hrs before checkin i was notified via email that the pool, spa, sauna and other similar amenities would be out of order. I called to see if there was anything theyd be willing to do to compensate. As it was proving difficult to find alt. Accomodation in that time frame. I was offered pool passes to some offsite location. The construction was loud. To their credit it stopped and started on time, but it was non stop within those hours. Like someone had a jackhammer in the next room. Renovations are ok, a little sloppy in my opinion. Our AC didnt work when we got to the room and we had maintenance/electricians in and out for the first 20 min we were in our room. Room was generally clean. Minus a dirty vent. There was some nice art work in the bathroom.

Grove Hotel Boise

We were given a room on the 8th floor. The keys didn't so a maintenance person let us in the room and another maintenance person (who was actually programing another guests key just a few doors down) reprogramed our keys to work. There also seemed like a lot of construction was still occuring on that floor, even though the front desk clerk said it was done. overall the room was clean and the beds were decent.

We were woken up on a Saturday at 8:30 am with sounds of drilling, banging, and hammering. The hotel is under renovation which we didn’t find out about until after we booked the non-refundable room. You would think they would start the construction after checkout at 11 am. The place is nice and the shuttle bus driver, Jack was very respectful and nice! I would stay again after the renovations but want happy with this particular stay.
