    120 vuotta vanha mökki, suuri pariskunta / perhe Get Away

    Sijaitsee lähellä pientä puroa yli 40 hehtaarin maata tutkia. Polut vievät sinut pienelle yksityiselle purolle, jolla on kotimainen taimen. Etupihalta voit nähdä peuroja, kalkkunaa ja muita villieläimiä. Tämä maalaismainen hytti siirrettiin vuonna 1957 alkuperäisestä perheen kotipaikasta. Mökin keittiö täyttää viikonlopun kävijöiden tarpeet modernilla mukavuuksilla. Yksityinen makuuhuone parvi tarjoaa suuren ikkunan, joka näyttää yli 5 hehtaarin laitumella. Olohuoneessa on televisio (vain DVD: lle - satelliitti tai kaapeli) ja valikoima DVD- ja pelejä. Tärkeimmät oleskelutilat on kaksi nukkuja sohvat, jotka nukkuvat neljä. Me emme tahallaan asettaneet Wi-Fi-yhteyttä mökkiin, jotta voit todella päästä pois. Kuitenkin solupalvelu on vahva, joten voit silti vastaanottaa tekstiviestejä ja ääniviestejä.
    Huomaa: vaiheet parvi makuuhuoneeseen ovat jyrkät ... suosittelemme, että menisit alas, kuten sinä nousisit, askeleet kohti .... jos sinä tulet hyvin. Myös etuasemat (3 askelta) kuistille ovat kalliot ja viimeinen korkeampi kuin kaksi ensimmäistä. Pienempi askel oikealle kuistille voit käyttää päästä kuistille ja taloon tarvittaessa. Tämä mökki ei ole esteettömiä.
    Tämä mökki on saanut loistavaa palautetta avuliaasta henkilökunnastaan. Majoituspaikka sijaitsee lähellä kohdetta Appalachian State University (yliopisto). Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi keittiön ja pation.

    The place was generally good, but for a few minor things that should be standard for most vrbo stays: 1) no pasta strainer, 2) no oven baking tray, 3) no instructions (with among other things, how to properly check out)., all the pillows were super thick, which sucks for people who like smaller thinner ones, 4) the to is of the absolute thinnest variety, and the heater was not working well the first day we got there. It took 4 hours to get from 58 to 70. Not sure about the heater, but the other things could easily be fixed to make this a 5 star stay.

    The cabin was so unique. My wife, son, dog, and I stayed here. This will be a trip our family will remember for a very long time. The hosts are very helpful while respecting your privacy. Highly highly highly recommend. The heater in the kitchen also works very well. The space heaters are sufficient but when we were there, it got down to 11 with a feels like of (-19). We just stayed in the pullout beds in the living room with the wood burning stove. The stove works almost too good. It gets very hot and it incinerates all the wood in there. *tip - run to Lowes and pick up one batch of dry wood and kindling sticks. Start the fire with these then use the wood available on property to keep it going. The kitchen is convenient and we were able to cook there (although we only did this once). Town is so close we were able to eat out or take out most days. We took advantage of the nearby tubing parks and skiing. All are a very short drive. I am certain we will book again on any trips to Boone.

    The cabin was very cozy and so authentically rustic! Loved it! The weather was cold and there was snow. We saw deer and wild turkeys. We did not explore the property, but definitely offers a lot. We want to return in the spring or summer! Also was decorated so nicely for Christmas!

    Exactly what we were looking for. Quiet old cabin in the mountains with peace and quiet. Plenty of deer on the property to sit and watch every day. Just wish we had drove a truck instead of my car as the last part of the driveway right at the house was a little steep and the owner was also cutting down trees and there was debris so it would have been much easier with a truck. But the the cabin was rustic with all the necessary amenities. The steps are steep and the ceilings and doorways are very low so watch your heads! But we had a wonderful weekend! Highly recommend!

    Quiet and secluded, yet 10 minutes from downtown Boone. Basic amenities, no internet, but had mostly 5g through t-mobile. I wouldnr recommend a low profile coupe or sedan, the rocky drive near the cabin would probably be a bit of a challenge

    Very cute and cozy cabin

    Weekend getaway with family — there were 5 of us and we were very cozy in the cabin with ample space for sleeping and cooking meals. Loved the peaceful location just outside of town. Cabin was very clean — check in was a breeze. Plan to stay here every year for our mountain getaway.

    We absolutely LOVED our stay! Kids and pups had room to roam, felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere while still close to what we needed. We saw deer every morning and even enjoyed a hike to the falls with the best guide ever, Oreo! Already have next year booked!

    Stunning!

    My wife and I spent a long weekend at the cabin and it was such a peaceful getaway. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful and we can't thank them enough for their generosity! This is truly a magical spot. The show of thousands of fireflies observed from the porch on a summer night is an unforgettable experience. We hope to be back soon!

    A beautiful spot with so much history- the photos do not do this amazing property justice!

    Our family was honored to stay in this 120 year old cabin on this amazing homestead and be a tiny part of its history. Absolutely great location, lovely short walk to the waterfall, it was so relaxing and stepping back in time to the basics. We loved our time and can't wait to come back!

    Cabin Getaway

    Cabin is charming. Property was beautiful. The rushing water from the stream is relaxing. We had up to 11 deer visit at dawn and dusk everyday. Great to getaway and it snowing while there was amazing to experience.
