Check in was easy. Hostess was so nice. Breakfast area was adequate and clean. The suite was okay but needed attention to details. It was clean upon arrival. The bed was very comfortable. It did have hic cups with details...The furnishings were mis matched. The room lacked lighting in bedroom and lack seating in living room. Microwave was mismatched along with mini fridge not appropriately sized for the space. Only one light switch for bathroom so everything came on at the same time. Same for bedroom. We did have a bug issue second night. Most of this was just a minor inconvenience.

When I arrived they took forever to find my reservation and then had to wait as housekeeping had not finished. I pulled the sheets back to go to bed and discovered there was blood on the sheets, pillow case and the wall. Completely unacceptable! I would never recommend this hotel

The manager was great in a resolving a small problem I encountered with one staff member, but the rest of the staff were so friendly, professional and courteous etc. The Hotel was super clean and beautiful.. I would definitely stay in this hotel next time we visit Louisiana.. Thank you! 😊

Step up the Security

This was our second time to stay at the hotel. Both times we have been pleased; however, on this trip the smell of marijuana was pungent on the second floor near a particular room. The morning we left there was a gentleman sitting in front of our car at the far end of the parking lot near the pool rolling a joint. He apologized and moved to new location closer to the pool and proceeded to complete his task. Considering the outrageous prices Louisiana has begun to charge for hotels maybe a bit of periodic security on the premises may detour this activity to some other place.
