Staff made us feel like family. Lovely older motel situated on the banks of a river. This gave us an opportunity to relax and enjoy the rocking chairs outside our room overlooking the river. Beds were comfortable. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean, quiet, and a good value. Will stay there again when in the area.

Im the queen of cheap hotels- i paid roughly 70 dollars for the biggest dump. I will say the young mixed gentlemen at the front desk was very very nice and helpful. But the pictures show a pool- its absolutely disgusting and not accessible. The doors have markings on them like someone tried to break in. The lock on my backdoor in my unit didnt work. Smelt like cigs. Ive been waiting to hear back for a refund because i told them i just couldnt stay there. I tried being the bigger person and just not writing a review but ive reached out several times for refund and no one gets back to me. 70 dollars down the drain to this dump

It’s okay.

The beds and rooms need to updated. One you play in the bed it’s as if your laying in a angle with you head up torso flat and legs back up. Rooms need to updated. It smelled like sewer in the room and outside. I just wish it was more updated and had better beds and bed frames.

Just what we needed for our unplanned stay w/dog

The Good: Guy at check-in was super friendly and helpful on where to park our trailer. The room was small, but very homey and sort of rustic. It was very clean and bed was comfortable. The view of the river was just great and being dog friendly was critical to us as we had our pup with us. Seems like many folks staying were repeat guests who all talked w/us and each other. The Not-So-Good: The bathroom was a bit tight but not too bad for one night. The biggest concern we had was security. The sliding door went out to a shared deck. It only had a U bolt to keep it locked, which in order to put the bolt in the door had to be open a little so you could easily stick a credit card in and pop the u bolt off. The front door was similar in that there was a gap you could easily access to pop the door lock open. Also, not the hotels fault but there was a guy smoking on the shared deck w/an ankle monitor on just looking in the sliding door, till we closed the drapes. We weren't too worried as we had a rather large dog and other personal protection with us. Bottom Line: Would we stay here again? YES we would. Good value, great location and view, and comfortable bed.

Our room and the bathroom were clean. Our bed was comfortable (the most important thing). The view of the river out of our back patio door was beautiful. The only problem was there were no cups or stuff to make coffee other than 1 regular and 1 decaf coffee. We were able to solve that problem in the morning. Gotta have that wake up coffee!

We enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. It is a little dated with a window unit for air. Not sure about heat. The temps were cooler outside but not cold. We loved sitting out the back door of our room by the river. The biggest concern was an electrical outlet that had a short in it.

Enjoyable stay

The motel wasn’t the most attractive outside but walked in the room and it was surprisingly clean! Comfortable beds, you could smell the clean comforter, freshly cleaned and enjoyed our stay! Will definitely stay again when needed 💙
