I have been visiting and staying at The Mt Princeton Hot Springs for decades. I just spent an overnight with my husband for our anniversary. I have to say I was VERY disappointed!! They have turned this special gem into an overly priced amusement park! People everywhere, loud music being played on the river, as I was trying to relax at the private soaking area, guests at the private soaking pool were on their phones talking so loudly to their friends FaceTiming, one of the private soaking pools was dirty with white stuff floating in the water. Our cliffside room , which was dog friendly, smelled awful, they should remove the carpeting and install tile, there were black hairs in the bathroom and no hot water in the shower and the walls were thin enough that you heard the next door guests throughout night, we went for dinner, all employees were either foreigners or very young except our waiter who was awesome (can’t remember his name from BV), our burger was excellent but $28 and $5 extra for the fries.All In very disappointed!!!!

Special Event

Totality satisfied with our stay. Our special day was awesome. We had the best prime dinning experience and our bar tender recommended a special beverage made with a smoked whiskey from a local distillery. Hot water was very close to or comfortable room and the week day stay made for a less busy experience. We really appreciated our water yoga instructor Sandy. She was very knowledgeable, calming and caring. One thing i noticed was she instructed out of the water and her movements were faster than us in the water could move so i would suggest a slower more water friendly pace. I would consider the value for our stay in line with my expectations. Wonderful place!

The room was great and in a terrific location. Everyone was great except the hostess at the restaurant. She was cold and short with us and needs training and personality! She should greet diners with a big smile and be welcoming, which she was not!
