Visually the resort is stunning, the grounds are beautiful, the attention to detail remarkable and the pool/spa area is amazing. The food in The Lazy Goat was really good especially the Maple Rosemary Chicken Wings. However, the elevator in our building (The Mansion) was broken, we were on the second floor and they did offer to help with our bags. The ice machine was also out of commision and the lobby door needed a little TLC to spruce up the area. It's a little odd that there is no dedicated reception area, I wasn't sure where to go to check in then realised check in is at the same counter as the coffee and pastries. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to relax and rejuvinate.

This "resort" is in need of an update. Bathrooms, beds and furnishings all dated and uncomfortable. Old style bath tub with plastic curtain circa 2000. We only ate at the Tavern once. Mediocre at best. Food not hot etc. Located about 20 minutes from downtown Burlington depending on traffic. A resort fee of $30/night/room left a lasting impression. We won't be back.

Very nice place booked on Expedia no one mentioned additional fees. Water took forever to get hot called desk they said we had to run at least 5 minutes to get hot water. Unfortunately Vermont is in middle of drought so not be thing.

Nice Place to Stay

This place is lovely, and I highly recommend the Junction restaurant. There were a couple of issues with the staff during my first night, but the manager called me, and made it right. My room could have had a nicer view, but it is what it is.

Lovely experience

Facilities were beautiful - both the indoor and the outdoor pools were lovely. Our room was spacious & comfortable. We didn't dine at the restaurants, but our friends did and they enjoyed themselves.

The property is very clean and the staff is excellent, always have a smile and very friendly and helpful. Our bedroom space was very clean, attractive but the bed was too hard and the pillows felt like they were filled with cement. the bathroom was a disappointment. There was a large area of rust around the bathtub drain, a turnoff for someone who likes baths. The bathroom door was so swollen that it was extremely hard to shut. The pedestal sink is sweet but there’s no place to put anything. The toilet most often doesn’t flush adequately. We didn’t use any services when we were there. The location of the facility is attractive and it was quiet. I was able to walk in the nearby neighborhood.

The hotel called us and ask us to switch rooms the day before our visit, as we were in a handicapped accessible room. We did, and the room they switched us to was directly overlooking the delivery area. All morning from 7 AM on all we heard was trucks constantly beeping as they backed in and doors slamming. Really ruined the whole experience. Bed was lop sided as well.
