The restoration of this great old hotel in the rooms available were very basic with the old pipes still sticking up through the floor areas; including one about 10 inches tall next to where you enter or exit the tub- which was poorly finished at baseboard level. Not a show stopper but with the old small rooms every inch counts.

Great historic hotel in Uptown Butte.I hadn't stayed here in probably a decade, and it still has staff that care and good, clean rooms. The place was packed with people but it is well-built and I didn't hear any noise. Give yourself a treat and stay here instead of one of the chains, you won't be disappointed. They also had a really nice lounge, too.

Been in and around Butte for all my life. Never stayed there before now. Was not thrilled to stay in the motor vehicle parked area but it was still a fine stay and quiet. Hotel secrion dressed and done well withhostorical decor and finishes, will stay in hotel portion next visit. Comfortable mattress/bed.
