Newly renovated with a mid-century modern vibe inside, the home is just minutes away from wine tasting, golf, fine dining and shopping. With 2,254 square feet, there’s plenty of room for everyone in the family to stretch out and enjoy the space.
The 4-bedroom, 4-bath post adobe home has an Early California ambiance, with palm trees, hibiscus and succulents in the yard.
Enter the jasmine-covered gate to reach the courtyard featuring an elegant concrete fountain. The outdoor dining area with a gourmet gas grill and bocce ball court is a perfect place to gather with family and friends for afternoon barbecues.
Living Spaces The dog-friendly residence includes concrete and tile floors, mid-century modern-style furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows that take full advantage of the sweeping views. The Dutch-style front door opens into the living room, an ideal gathering place for relaxing and watching the 42-inch HDTV. Tones of earthy gray, gold and blue complement the post adobe interiors, which include a gas fireplace with Carmel stone surround, whitewashed vaulted ceilings and comfortable furniture. Well-equipped for extended stays!
Kitchen and Dining The kitchen features gray cabinetry with stylish concrete countertops and stainless steel appliances that include a four-burner gas cooktop, double wall ovens, dishwasher and a French door refrigerator. The dining area has a wooden table with seating for 6+ and nearby counter seating for 2. Laundry room with washer and dryer.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms Downstairs there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom #1 - King bed, and an en suite bath with a vessel sink, and a large shower that’s big enough for two featuring dual showerheads. This bedroom also has access to a rear outdoor patio with a fireplace, Adirondack chairs and beautiful views of the valley to enjoy either day or night. Bedroom #2 - Queen size bed and an en suite bath with a shower over tub. Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed and is located near the hall bathroom with a shower. Bedroom #4 is separate from the first three bedrooms and is set up as a studio apartment located upstairs, over the garage. A three-quarter bath with shower can be found at the bottom of the staircase that leads to the suite. This upstairs guest suite has a kitchenette with sink, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove top and toaster oven. Sleeping options include a king bed along with a bunk bed with a full bed below and twin above. A seating area with a 28-inch HDTV and bistro table and a valley view balcony complete the space.
Parking for one vehicle is available in the garage and several more cars can be parked in the driveway.
Well-behaved dogs under 40 lbs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
Guests exploring the Monterey area will find it’s just a 20-minute drive to the beach in Carmel or to golf and sightseeing in Pebble Beach; Pacific Grove, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row are just as close.
