The Blue Mist has the potential to be a lovely property. Our check in was without issue and the gentleman who welcomed us was very kind. Sadly during our one night stay we were unable to access the internet, despite directions and numerous attempts. The AC worked just fine as did the shower and frig. The springs on the bed sound bad but the bed was comfortable. Greater concerns include gnats in the room and general disrepair of the room. While the property is conveniently located next to the highway the noise level at times was excessive. The Florence Cafe, very near the motel was the perfect breakfast choice.

Krisan, the manager was always ready to help with directions, the history of the motel, or allowing me a late check out. Motel is right out of the 1950's with full kitchen and lots of room. I will be back. Parking right at the door. Very quiet with great resturant next door.

Staff tried to correct the problem and brought in different sheets for the bed. The walls were filthy. Blood stain and dirt on one bed sheet and both bed skirts. Dead cockroach on the floor. We took photos and brought the desk clerk in who was very apologetic and admitted the bedding was clearly not changed. The second bedding had old blood stains and a long black hair which none of us have.
