I really enjoyed building rapport and having conversations with the two bartenders during the evening hours at the DoubleTree. We selected the Doubletree to stay after a nearby family Christmas party to avoid a late drive home to Michigan. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas, the registry staff was very helpful, and our room had a view of downtown Chicago. It was quiet and easy to get to the highway in the morning.
