I stayed here for my birthday and thought the price was too good to be true at first because you never know what you'll get with boutique hotels but I was so impressed with the cleanliness and how nice everything was. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Chicago!

Over priced with not enough amenities. No mini fridge, no microwave, room lighting was horrible, when you take a shower too much water gets on the floor, no problem with the staff. The overall space of the place was just too compact from the lobby to the elevator to the hall way to even getting in your room good everything was just too tight. Only gave us one robe when it was 2 guest the leg was broken for the desk that was in the room which it fell and landed on my girlfriend’s foot. Not to mention as a refreshing beverage they chose cheap sparkling water. Breakfast was tasteless place was clean and staff was nice but that building itself horrible I will never be back

They were not clear about breakfast availability; food items were overpriced and the only “complementary breakfast” was coffee, tea, fruits. The bathroom sink overflowed in seconds due to the bowl being very shallow. The rooms listed online do not resemble the rooms that are actually given; no fridge or microwave available. Television streaming is very difficult to access and requires a $10 app on your phone. WiFi is slow. Staff were kind, the area is safe and central to lots of food and convenience store options.

Good hotel. Weird it shows amenities for the bathroom but there isn’t anything but the shampoo/wash/conditioner on the wall. Also sink is very shallow so fills quickly and water gets everywhere. Stayed for 1 night.

It was a relatively good stay but the stars of the show were the employees especially one named Marina. She was excellent and was a wealth of information and I do hope she is recognised. The rooms are a little small and the building shows its age. It would be good if the hotel provided disposable crockery for those of us with our own food.

The front desk gal was getting someone a coffee; so no one at the desk. When I went to find her, she said I was next, then proceeded to help two more people then finally got to me. This all occurred at 10pm . Then was perturbed when I wasn’t interactive, and shouted “you’re welcome” as I was walking to the elevator. I wasn’t rude, wasn’t mean, just was not interactive after I was made to feel the last priority.

Hotel Felix was a convenient location for walking to Michigan Ave and other local attractions. My room was very cold. Heater never came on. I was too tired to argue about being placed in a “bad” room. I also didn’t like the nickle and dime for everything including the “urban fee”. I had high hopes for this hotel after the reviews but I think reserving via Expedia put me on the “list”.
