The room wasn’t cleaned well. Ants in the bathroom floor, and flying ants in the sleeping area. Very disappointing to say the least!!!

Although a longtime Hilton Honors Member - I booked this stay via Expedia in an effort to save some money on the overall rate/stay. This was my first mistake, as I fully understand that properties have certain blocks of rooms that are used for Third Party Reservations such as Expedia...which are "typically" not the most update and maintained rooms within the property. This has only proven even more true on this stay. Just to delineate a few of the concerns with room 320: Large stains throughout living room carpet. Many electric sockets in lamps are worn out and do not work. Tracking for glass closet doors is so rusty that the doors do not open and close without coming off of the tracking. Shower has moderate amount of mildewed caulking. Various spots where wallpaper is peeled away due to drywall deteriorating behind it. Balcony canopy has only metal framing with no canvas covering for shading/shielding from Sun or Rain. Sleeper Sofa is worse than most/normal sofa beds are generally expected to be. As a long-time Hilton Diamond Member - having stayed in hundreds of Hilton Properties, including many DoubleTree flagships...I am disappointed with our experience here in Blue Ash/Sharonville. I responded to the property’s texts asking how my stay was going (both times they sent it) — only to receive no response, either time. Thanks for hearing me out - as I only share my concerns and experience to assist your property and Hilton in maintaining Hilton’s desired high standards.

Had to change rooms because electrical outlets by bed did not work. Both my wife and I have medical reasons why we need electrical outlets near the bed area. Then when we moved from 203 to 207 the commode would not flush. Being frustrated I called the front desk and was hung up on. The cook, Rafael, came to the room and fixed the commode and apologized for the inconvenience. One more thing that caught my eye was the vent above the shower. It was disgustingly dusty like it hadn’t been cleaned in years.

Worst hotel experience I’ve had so far

The front of the hotel was nice so I was very surprised when I pulled around to the side entrance to take my bags up and there was tree branches all over the parking lot. There was even trees blocking the entrance to the side door, I had to put my stuff down and move them out of the way. Then when I finally got to my room it stunk and there was gnats everywhere. When I went to open my balcony to go sit outside, it was sealed up with plastic and tape, so were my windows so I couldn’t even see outside! None of this was mentioned to me upon check in. All in all, I ended up leaving early and staying at another hotel.

Hotel was being painted outside. All the windows were covered in plastic. When we arrived, the front door was blocked off with no signage as to where to enter. A door in our room was broken. I think the hotel should have let people know in advance what to expect.

Very bad service. While I left for the dinner hotel staff collect all my belongings to big plastic bag and placed to reception without my permission and even without informing me. Why? Because my room was booked with someone else. Ok, why you checked me in to this room? When I returned to hotel I was not able to enter to my room and I proceeded to reception where receptionist said that they moved me to another room and brought my belongings in big plastic bag like trash. Terrible!

Staff was nice and GM was fair with compernsation Property was under renovation with no posted notice. A/C did not work...toilet wouldn't flush. This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, the smell when walking in the building was awful. Like a combo of wet dog and weed. The water constantly dripped all night, the TV didn’t work in the bed room area, the other TV was sitting about 2 feet off the floor. Was hair in bathroom. We asked for a different room they didn’t have one but would try to find us one the next day and didn’t. Never again.
