Great family vacation get away!

Traveling with my adult children and teens, this was the perfect place to fit everyone comfortably. Sitting and eatting breakfast together was a true joy. The property manager was very responsive and attentive. 5 stars!!! Will definitely return in the future.

Wonderful, rustic house with spacious accommodations. Loved the quiet neighborhood outside of town but still close enough to drive anywhere we wanted to go. Beautiful horses across the street were a bonus!

Adorable farmhouse

We enjoyed our stay at the adorable farmhouse. We especially appreciated the space and all the thoughtful "extras" included. There are some areas where you have to avoid tripping or hitting your head on the stairs.

Charming Farmhouse in a Beautiful Setting

This charming house is located in a beautiful area just outside Coeur d’Alene. It was convenient to our daughter’s house. The beds were comfortable and the vinyl collection fun!

A farmhouse in the woods, watching horses

We stayed on the property for 5 nights and it was so relaxing. It is not resort living or beach living, it is being by yourselves on the mountain in the woods. The owners are doing a really wonderful job of preserving the heritage of the property while making sure that all the modern amenities are available. I must point out that the lighting and the heat/air-conditioning were absolutely designer quality. Those are things where traditional farmhouses are weak, but this property was outstanding! You could light up every corner or just pick the lights you want for a mood. We had 4 people from 3 generations, sleeping in four bedrooms on all 3 floors and no one complained about too hot or too cold or too dark or too bright. Warning: the stairs are steep and if you are taller than 4'10" you'll have to duck going down to the media room. But again, the lighting comes on automatically, so it won't be a surprise. And if you sleep down there you will hear every flush in the house go whooshing by. The surround sound on the media center would be capable of waking the neighbors, if there were any neighbors. There is a beautiful working horse farm across the street. There are woods behind and there are swings, and picnic tables, and a hammock, and goat sculpture and lots of things to enjoy on the property. The front porch is so hospitable, seating for eight, but very comfortable for two snuggling or one just soaking in the peacefulness. Wonderful!

Beautiful farmhouse just outside of town. My daughter found it and we both love the place. There is a pond with a fountain and houses across the street. Very quite and relaxing!!! We will definitely stay there again the next time we go!

Idyllic Location, Wonderful Host

Trish was such a gracious host and very helpful/communicative! The property has the feel of a country retreat while still being just a few minutes from downtown CDA. Also, the AC units placed throughout the home kept it nice and cool. Kids loved the wildlife and having the whole downstairs with the movie setup to themselves, and the adults appreciated the classic albums, relaxing on the porch in the mornings/evenings, and the peace and quiet after long days at Silverwood!

Lovely place to stay in the country

Relax and unwind

Two families of 4 stayed at this property. We went to Silverwood Theme Park during most of our stay which is only a 30 minute drive away. The property was cozy and beautifully decorated. There was air conditioning and plenty of room for all of us. It was very relaxing and quiet. It is in a more secluded area and we got to see lots of wildlife. Horses grazed in the pasture across the street, wild turkeys trotted around and we also spotted several deer. We would definitely stay again!
