Rude front desk

I specially requested and paid for the ocean view room. Unfortunately, my room was facing to the parking lot.. I have requested to change it from the front office, but, the guy was so rude at the front office and he denied my request without even looking to his computer. These people who are working at the front dest are not care what the customer satisfaction mean and they do not give any inportance to customer reviews..

Property is in a good location, not far from the Boardwalk and pier. Most furnishings in the room or newer and good quality, the hide a bed sofa however was broken. Nice size refrigerator in the room and sink and cooktop were convenient. Room was closest to the elevators and they could be heard at night. Pay attention to some trip hazards around the property from uneven tile in some walkways.

I was very pleased with my stay. The bath has recently been updated, the bedding was above expectations for quality, overall the room and property were clean, and the included breakfast was better than average. If there was a negative, the kitchenette was dated and there was no cookware. I would return without hesitation.

Fine for one night

To start before I even arrived the hotel billed me for my stay 2 days prior even though I had a “reserve now pay later” rate with hotels.com. I guess they knew once I got there I would probably consider staying somewhere else. The mirror in the bathroom was cracked. Paint chipped everywhere and on the balcony. Water damage on the lower door. The smoke detector light blinked all night. A very questionable stain (blood?) was found on the balcony wall in the morning. The elevator was smaller than a closet and a little scary. Charged $7 to park here for the night with my stay. For $230 for a night this place was rundown and in poor condition. I can see where they are trying to make repairs and renovate but right now it’s not good.
