The stay was okay. This hotel needs upgrades inside and out to me. Our air conditioning wouldn’t come back on after opening the balcony door. The maintenance man had to come up to the room and use a hair dryer to blow it back on or heat it up to work. There are just so many homeless and drug addicts that surround this hotel. I’m sorry but I am just being upfront.

I paid more for a deluxe room but at check in they said was all sold out. Got a regular room. Lobby and restaurants were nice. Had small issue with breafast buffet as waitress tried charging all 4 of us as adults and my kids were 10 and 12. But next morning, our waitress was wonderful and explained our kids were supposed to be free per paid adult. Saved us money, wished we had her morning before. Very close to daytona lagoon. You have to walk down towards pier to find a way to the beach. Overall was a good trip.

Average experience. Resort was not clean. Empty food items were prevalent in resort. Room was average. Bed skirt had holes in it. Rooms could use an update. Tiles cracked and old stains in bathroom. Staff is not friendly. Parking across street is $35 a night which is excessive. Resort fee is a pack. You don't get anything much for $25 fee. Overall average stay. Keep in mind your room rate isnt accurate. Add another $65 for parking and resort fee.

I wouldn't come back

The hotel is old, in terms of cleanliness the room looked dirty and neglected. In the morning only one elevator worked for the entire hotel. I traveled with a baby and waited for more than an hour for the elevator and it was impossible to get down in it.

Positive: Near beach, events, and attractions. Responsive security team. Negative: Had to wait in a line of cars for 30+ minutes just to check in. Surprise $35 parking fees that were not disclosed until the day of arrival. When the parking lot fills up you have to pay $50 for valet. The parking lot is also a public lot with multiple deep pot holes. The building has ceiling leaks and excess moisture inside. I had an adjoining room and my neighbors were able to gain access to my room, possible because the cleaning crew left the adjoining door unlocked. I was not in the room when they initially entered. No personal property was taken to my knowledge; however, the desk chair was switched to a torn one and the phone was left off the hook. Unfortunately, I was in the room when an additional attempt was made to enter my room. I did not feel safe, so I was not able to enjoy my stay. I will not stay here again. There are multiple other properties to choose from with no parking hassles or outrageous fees.

Just one photo of leaky ceiling and a fan. There were at least 10 fans going at the same time in multiple areas.

Torn up desk chair. It was replaced upon my request.

The hotel itself was nice and the staff was amazing, very friendly and very helpful! However, the crowd around the boardwalk has gone downhill, the bridge is under repair, stairs down to the beach have not been rebuilt after the last hurricane damage, so you have to walk a bit to get down to the beach. My biggest issue though, is the parking. Even if you don't use valet and you self park 2 blocks away, you have to pay $35 a night on top of your nightly stay, and that's on top of the additional $25 daily resort fee! I think this is ridiculous. Parking should be included for hotel guests. Because of this detail, we will unfortunately not be staying here again.
