Old style motor inn in a busy part of town which can be both good and bad. On main road but quiet in room. Never really heard any outside noise nor anything from adjoining rooms. Safe area and convenient to morning coffee. Bathroom was immaculate with brand new shower, floor and wall tile, sink and toilet. Mattress was dated but very comfortable cover and duvet. Slept very well.

Never judge a book by its cover. I stayed at the Mariner's Motel last minute. I was loking for the least expensice place and knew i would be taking a gamble. I was a bit skeptical at the older looking place when i pulled up. Very simple lobby and had to wait since it was after hours for innkeeper to open lob y. That was fine, i got in late. Innkeeper was a nice older woman. The room was well worth the 100. So clean!! Comfortable bed and fun interior. I dont know what they charge during the height of the season, but the charge for the off sean and the quality of room was very good.

We were in town for the Cape Cod Marathon and the Mariner had a fantastic location, maybe 5 minutes down Main Street to the Start/Finish line. It was less than that to a convenient Walgreens as well as the World Class Betsey’s "Talk of the Town: diner. The Mariner is a throw back to the motels of the 70’s, but it is obvious the owners make a real effort. Our room (#3) had a completely redone bathroom with a brand new shower enclosure, vanity and sink. The floors appeared new throughout, and the room came with a generously sized refrigerator/freezer as well as a coffee maker. In a day and age when hotels/motels seem to care mostly about giving you less service for ever higher rates all the while tacking on “resort fees” the Mariner was a breath of fresh air.
