The penthouse view is amazing and it’s nice having two rooms and the small kitchen amenities. The view from the patio is the reason to stay here — there is noise from the plaza at night but that’s the trade off for the excellent location. Walk from the train station was doable but a little hard with bigger bags. Red circle is the restaurant patio for the Uffizi gallery.

Pros: Location is excellent-accessible to everything. Exceptionally clean-wonderful cleaning staff. Bed quite comfortable. Very nice shower. Cons: Kitchenette is quite small, serviceable but awkward to use. Very , very noisy from the piazza until well past midnight-during daytime constant chatter (like white noise), but at night shouting, yelling, chanting, singing. Makes it difficult to sleep. If you stay here bring earplugs. Helps a lot.

The location is excellent, really can’t be beat. But the rooms are very loud making it hard to sleep. Our room was above a cafe that has techno music playing until late. The rooms are unique and have a nice kitchenette but the bathrooms are very small (only one person) and the shower had some mold.
