Friendliest and most helpful front desk manager. Quiet cozy room, nice size refrigerator for our leftovers. Nice clean bathroom. No issues with parking or safety which can be concern with traveling with a full car.

ONLY 1 THING CAN I SAY ( coffee offered) in the office. COULD NOT USE THE COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM (A BUG IN IT!) i’m a disabled senior who has LUPUS only wanted to stay in a CLEAN place and take a nice bath (COULD NOT RINGS IN THE TUB ALSO BUGS…not to mention under the sheets were bugs! it made me SO SICK i also now have BITES, i didn’t realize this till late thursday evening it was raining hard and foggy would LEFT! i never saw on there sight they didn’t provide any kind quest help (towels, extra blankets, NO HELP WHAT SO EVER. I saw bugs under the sheet to late, i was so upset and sick to my stomach i couldn’t eat or barely sleep in that nasty bed. I have stayed in Fort Bragg the mendocino/ little river area for years.. NEVER HAVE I STAYED IN SUCH A FILTHY PLACE. My time is very limited being so ILL most of the time.. i payed to be in a filthy place. A lady in the room next to me asked me if i smelled mold? i agreed and said yes. MY TIME WAS RUINED AND A TOTAL NIGHTMARE. If you don’t mind bugs, and the room dirty it’s for you! NOT ME. ((DISAPPOINTED)).

This hotel is in a beautiful place with excellent views of the river from its balconies on the hill ledge. However, it is also overlooking a fairly ran down and not aesthetically pleasing old town. The room was spacious, and the afternoon in the balcony was to die for. Having said that, this is not a 5 start hotel and it is in need of serious remodeling/upgrades.

The staff had great attitudes, I found That they upgraded me to the kitchenette room and it was great to be surprised to that room. The only issue was the people upstairs that were stomping around all hours of the night. Sounded like a heard of cattle bouncing off of the walls.

We had a great one night stay here! We got the biggest queen room they had which while a tad outdated I felt it was very comfortable, the balcony was amazing. Only downfall was no AC only because we are Floridians and ac is life to us but I had no issues with the cleanliness, the service or the hotel as a whole. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again if I was in the area! The biggest queen size room was perfect for our family of 4.
