Unlike Hampton Inn

We were given a handicap room and the main door wouldn’t open unless it was pushed extremely hard. We had our room serviced and upon return, our door was open because it could not be closed properly unless slammed shut. The towel rack was also falling off the wall. The room was in poor shape.

The room was okay. Check in was a breeze. Then the screaming, crying children arrived at 11:00 pm in the adjoining room banging on the connector door and carrying on. The walls are so thin you could hear everything. A text to the front desk and they apparently sent someone up to quiet them after 35 minutes. An hour later we are still awake. and we were asleep for an hour before they came Never again.

Although my room was adjacent to the hotel gym/workout room, after I expressed concern, staffer, Abdul, offered to move me / got me drinks, ice, showed genuine appreciation for me. Took a chance on staying first floor and worked out great! Didn’t like that I was denied Hilton Honors benefits since I had booked with Expedia.

Our Bahama vacation

Everything was great including the breakfast and pool. Convenient location to walk to shopping or eating and drinking out. Was surprised that the shuttle to the airport was not included. $20 is the price.
