The location was wonderful. Many restaurants in the hotel and surrounding area. Short walk to the river walkway for water taxi and to watch the boats cruising by. A perfect place to stay pre/post cruise. We did not find the bed comfortable.

The property was nice, however I booked 10 months in advance and asked for a room away from the elevator but was given a room right next to it. Walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors talking. View of the roof was not so great either which i had reached out to them about the view 10 months prior.

The hotel is a bit dated but we have a lovely stay. The biggest issue was the lack of being aware of a parade that was blocking the whole streets around. We had booked a shuttle the night before and the shuttle was late/unsure if it could make it to the hotel. The hotel staff assured us parades happen all of the time and that we would be fine upon bookings Additional stress is not fun. Otherwise the location of this hotel was wonderful

Great location next to the Riverwalk and lots going on at night. The biggest downside is that while there are restaurants at the hotel there is no room service. The only other downside was the shower in our room. The bathroom is real small and the tub/shower base (floor) is slopped inward for water drainage. Extremely awkward/hard to stand on.

We have stayed at the Riverside many times & loved it, but this time we were on the 1st floor with an adjoining door…we could hear every word the neighbours were saying! The room next door also had a dog that barked constantly when the occupants left the room. The fan in the bathroom was useless, VERY LOUD & did nothing. Our room also faced the street & you could hear all conversation & vehicles outside.

Hotel is in a perfect location for plenty of dining options as well as bars and night clubs. Water taxi and Carrie B cruises right outside on the new river, along with the scenic Riverwalk We knew this was an hotel when we booked so the dated decor and oldish feeling didn’t bother us, the room we booked had automatic lighting with some updated decor. Our view was bird poop and a stained window, all you could see was the wall of the parking garage for the hotel. However my biggest issue was the lack of respect housekeeping had for sleeping guests, from the hours of 6-8am every morning we heard loud chatter from the housekeeping staff as well as doors slamming nonstop, like I mean at least 30-40 times in the matter of 2 hours. They were yelling down the hall at each other and made it difficult to sleep. I would understand if it was guests making noise but it wasn't, also had to request fresh towels because our room wasn’t cleaned once in our 3 night stay. Front desk, baggage and valet employees were awesome helpful, overall a good stay.

They don’t even have one bottle of water left in the room for the guest, in my opinion it’s a bit of cheap for a highly rated hotel.

This property was very convenient to the location that we needed to be. It was plenty of food, dining options, and shopping nearby the actual hotel, though it’s just fair. Our room was very very tiny. Nothing special no amenities no nice view. None of that but only needed to be there for two nights, so it was OK.
