Overnight stay perfectly adequate for this and close to Pharmacy and other outlets for evening food snacks The beach is at the end of the road 100yards. New tower blocks around it only serve to show its art deco exterior and plan is unique and should be preserved. Interior is shabby in places but not enough to say it’s neglected Just wish I win the lottery to buy it and give it the face over it deserves. The surrounding area full of bars marinas and very close to water taxi. Definitely stay here again.

Arrived early after a red eye flight from USA. No safe place to store luggage while waiting hours for our room to br ready. We'd asked prior to our arrival for a quiet room but was led to the noisiest room they had on a busy street corner with high rise construction actively in progress. With some disappointed expressed we were given a quieter room. However, an extra key in the lockbox was not present as promised and next door neighbors were sitting outside our room smoking weed. Did not feel entirely safe leaving our room for dinner.

Not worth it

Where do i start? I tried to have an open mind because some reviews are old. Nooooo….the room was dank & dingy. The bathroom-dirty, mildew in the corners of the shower, the shower curtain & hooks were old & dirty. Toilet would love when you sat on it. It smelled funny. You can hear the people in the room upstairs, the a/c hardly worked. The covers on the bed were stained & dirty. I laid out my beach towels that I brought from my home on the bed & that’s what I slept on top of. I tried, and mainly stayed because the beach is about 500 steps away, but don’t.

Great location but in need of simple maintenance.

Location was amazing. Very close to the beach, inland water way, shops and restaurants. The bedding was very clean and comfortable beds. The rooms were nice and spacious. Unfortunately the room had a lot of mold in the bathroom that made me feel quite unwell with respiratory problems. The wardrobes shelves had no fittings so were sitting on the floor. The wardrobe hanger was broken making the wardrobe useless. The walls of the room were covered in dirty hand marks which I spent an hour cleaning when we first checked in. The accommodation had absolutely great potential but needed small repairs to be carried out and a deeper clean of the rooms. I would stay again if the mold was treated but unfortunately I felt quite unwell whilst there.

First time visiting this hotel and was nervous because I was arriving late at night and wasn’t able to get a hold of hotel for information. However I’m happy I still stayed as it’s a quiet little hotel with great location, staff are friendly. It’s affordable and all you need with a great location. Will definitely return again.

Location best thing

Had to wait forever at check-in as clerk was busy chatting. Room was ok. Could hear the people above us. No hairdryer coffee maker or micro wave. Pictures were deceiving of the courtyard. It was dingy & lots of smokers sitting there. It was close to the beach and several places to eat was the best thing about this hotel.

Don’t “stain” there white towels or you’ll get charged a fee. It wasn’t mentioned to us until after check out when we were charged for makeup on the white towel. The parking situation is terrible. There’s about 9 spots they have available or you’ll get blocked in & have to call a tow truck. We also got locked out of the room for an hour yet no accommodations were made for that. Nice room inside just terrible parking, language barrier, & a charge that wasn’t mentioned until after it was charged

The location was excellent, walkable to beach and restaurants. The walls are thin, we could hear the next door occupant snoring loudly. Not a lot of bells and whistles (no hair dryer or iron) . The staff is nice and accommodating.

About an hour after checking in the front desk checked-in someone else into my room. I come out of the shower to find someone in my room. The lady at the front desk found it comical when I brought this concern to her attention.

Good spot, location is great. Rooms were upgraded and nice. Bathroom was upgraded and nice. Air unit worked well and the bed was good. I think the exterior could use some touch up and the cars blocking the entrance takes away from the experience. Desk attendant was always present and nice. Looking forward to the return of my $100 deposit.

This property was terrible. Nothing resembled what was advertised. Extremely disappointed and requested a full refund. I checked in and checked out within 10 minutes. Would not recommend.
