Team member at reception was so courteous and efficient in getting us sorted after a delayed (late) arrival. Hotel room was clean and in great shape, especially for an older building, and there was even a charming handwritten welcome card on the desk when we arrived.

The floors were really dirty. The bottom our feet were black from the dirty floor. I don't think they moped the floors in a while. The bathroom had a funny smell and when we turned on the AC it smelled like someone sprayed cologne or something in the AC unit. Our phone did not work I had to call the front desk on my cell phone. Staff was friendly and breakfast was average.

Both front desk clerks were so incredibly kind. One had recognized the band on my tshirt & started playing it (as the music in the background) & it IMMEDIATELY made my day 1000% better! They were both very outgoing and made sure we felt at home. They even told us about places in the area to eat (without being asked) & the entire layout of the property/room etc. Even though this interaction may seem little, it made all the difference in the world & cheered us up after being in the car for over 9 hours. We also needed to have maintenance come to the room to help with a toilet clog & the maintenance guy was there quickly & solved the issue almost immediately. Thank you for this experience!

This is a really fantastic facility. A minutes walk away is a Black Bear Diner. The rooms are large comfortable and very well maintained.
