Excellent location for a city break

Pros: Everything from the polite staff, ideal location and the cleanliness of the hotel.
Location: If you do an internet search of things to do in Girona City. The Ciutat De Girona will be with easy walking distance of most of them.
Had a very good break in Girona and Ciutat De Girona hotel was perfect. It's location was ideal as it was within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, sightseeing and shopping. The hotel room was very clean and had a modern feel. The hotel staff were very helpful and full of information and always happy to advise. Would definitely stay at the Ciutat De Girona again.

Staff were very pleasant although not very truthful when it came to excess noise like kitchen noise and hotel generators or building work opposite. We moved room once but then too tired could not be bothered to move on last night - bought ear plugs instead. Can hear everything through the walls. The hotel did not feel busy but i felt as if they wanted to keep us on only one floor for their convenience. Relatively quiet area except for building work but that is not controllable. Main problem with noise was in hotel itself. Great locations, cannot fault that. It was ideally placed just across the river from the old town and ideal for all that Girona has to offer. Hotel looking a bit tired and scruffy in places, beds comfortable however. Didn't use the pool or spa etc. Not a bad price if a bit quieter at night or better room position.
