The staff was incredibly helpful, the location was convenient to the train station and the rest of downtown, the coffee shop and brewpub were both delicious, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Great stay. Would stay again if in the area.

The lobby remodel from what used to be Hotel Denver has created a warm, inviting and upscale space. Spacious with high ceilings. The comfort king room was a good value for the price, but I'd choose a different room next time because it was essentially equivalent to an interior room on a cruise: dark with "windows" you couldn't see out that let in little light and didn't open. We chose that room level based on reviews that it was quiet, but from 9-11 pm all we heard were nonstop doors slamming, the elevator dinging, and heel stomping from above.

The front desk manager was very happy to change our room when we asked. Many aspects of this hotel are very cool and historical. It does seem that it has been newly renovated and some details left out. All in all a good experience with plenty of walkable dining options.

Love the remodel. Could not be more convenient for the iconic, Amtrak Zephyr, and about a 25 minute walk to the glorious Iron Mountain Hot Springs. The pullout twin is my only complaint.
