The room was clean. The price was good. The location was great for taking the Grand Canyon Railway. The breakfast was typical complimentary hotel breakfast. The staff wasn't that friendly but everything else was good.

The room was not cleaned properly. There was dog food on the floor in random areas of the room. The top of bathroom mirror had thick layer of dust on the light, the mirror had spots clearly that show it wasn't cleaned properly and the bathroom sink wasn't draining properly so there was dirty water that just sat in the sink after washing hands. The baby playpen/crib they say I could use was so worn down it was boney is the only way I could explain it. I had to use layers and layers of blankets thankfully that I brought to cushion it enough for him to sleep in. I was honestly very disappointed especially being this was our first family trip but definitely not my first staying in a hotel to know this was unacceptable. For almost $250 it's not worth it. Don't stay here y'all. Days inn is right next door go there. I felt I was at the Purina Inn with all the dog food pieces we found around the room. Luckily my kid didn't find it and eat them as any 1.5yr old would at that age. Do better La Quinta.
