First off, There is Colonial Motel and Colonial House. I was in the house. Overall, a good stay. Quiet (down right peaceful) and clean. It is an older house but clean. The only draw back was the bed was too soft. Some people may like it, but to soft for me.

The bathroom is renovated and newer than the previous hotel we stayed. Beds and pillows are clean and comfortable. We’re surprised this high quality of the room at such an affordable price.

This is an old style family owned motel and for what it is, it is quite good. It is extremely clean and for the price it is definitely worth it. I would definitely stay here again if I had any reason to go back to that area.

I stayed in the main house, 2nd floor, Queen Deluxe Room included micro, refrig, keurig and had an a/c unit. Very quiet, quaint, old-world charm. It was close to my family that still lives in G.G. and was convenient for what I needed. Would recommend for anyone that needs to compress from the hustle and bustle of life.

Stepped back in time

I had a room in the main house, built in the 1860s and loved it. They tried to keep some of the old world charm in the room with a huge tall queen size bed with a big pile of pillows, original cast iron radiator and even the slightly squeaky wood floors under the carpet. If you love old houses like i do, you'll love the old timey atmosphere. With mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room you also had your modern touches. It was clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent renovated vintage motel

Excellent stay in this renovated vintage motel. Colonial style with rocking chairs under the porch, vintage bed cover with a mix of new furnitures and antiques. Full of charm and great stay.

This place is “The Country Inn” of good old American. Give you comfort as staying at granny’s place and warm feeling during your stay. I’ll definitely be back there whenever I have a chance.

Excellent Place

Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Bed and pillows were awesome. Slept like a rock. I've stayed in many of the higher priced B&Bs in the area and prefer this place by far. Décor is quaint and quirky. Shower was excellent....and we stayed in the lowest tier room. Staff was very patient, kind and helpful. Only stayed one night but will certainly be back for a longer stay. Oh, and the farm fresh eggs are a great deal too.... real hidden gem. I was pleasantly surprised.
