Hotel was basic but clean and housekeeping were there every day, we only used the hotel as a base and didn’t eat or drink there. But what I saw looked decent. The location is excellent for exploring St Pauli and transport to the harbour and main areas of Hamburg are plentiful. You are about a 10-15 minute walk from the Repperbhan

EASY FOR BASE CAMP

Was nice and clean and comfy. room was big, only small problem was shower head holder was slightly broken, would slide down so had to keep holding shower head in place. did ask for singles and was made up as a double, but easy to move apart and maid was happy to make it up as two singles.

Acceptable hotel outside of downtown

The room was clean and spacious, though a little dated. No in-room safe which is disappointing. Hotel was fine (standard 2.5-3 star) for a couple of nights travelling on business and the bed was very comfortable. Public areas are also a little dated looking and could do with a refresh. The neighbourhood is graffitied but safe and within walking distance of good cafes and bars. About a 30-40 minute walk to the city centre or 10 minutes to the nearest S-Bahn. Adequate for a couple of days of solo travel.

Not half bad

Hotel has a great reception team, check in was easy and the room was ready early! The room itself was a bit run down. Overall it was a good hotel and in a great location!

decent but terrible service

Good location, walking distance to most things. Hotel itself has decent sized rooms but amenities are minimal and a lot of things like lights etc did not work properly. Service was terrible, they couldnt find my booking for an hour although I gave all the info. But if your ok on your own and just need a low priced decent hotel, then its fine.
