We stayed there for the Super Bowl. The hotel was in a nice quaint city about 45 minutes from New Orleans. There was plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The hotel was very pretty. We loved the old fashioned feel. It was very clean and decorated nicely. I would recommend.

The pros are the location, the bar, cleanliness and walkability of the area. The cons were the noise and parking. We stayed here for 2 nights. We arrived the night of a wedding in this hotel. There was no parking available. We ended up parking across the street from the hotel in the bank parking lot as advised by the front desk. The music from the wedding reception could be heard in our room well past 9pm. We also could clearly hear music into the night our 2nd night. We had some great drinks in the bar and walked to dinner. We also walked to a great ice cream shop just a few blocks away. Beds were comfy, shower and bathroom were clean and had hot water. I would stay here again but may a different part of the hotel.

Everything was good, but the AC is a deal killer and why we could never stay here again no matter how nice it is. The AC vent blows directly in your face when you are in bed making it impossible to sleep with it on. So you have to turn it off and then it gets to warm to sleep.
