Please do not waste your hard earned money here! Website outdated and not accurate! Not anywhere close to a 4 star resort in my opinion. Window ac unit in bungalow couldnt keep up, had to run all day and all night and didnt cool room down properly, different color paint in rooms that should be the same! No black out drapes in bedroom that website list as being in the rooms! And "rainfall" showerhead is just a regular, dirty shower head! We even had a hornets nest in our bedroom window!

Very nice resort and rooms. We enjoyed the sky bar, the bartender that was there was very nice and great at making drinks. The food was not good, wouldn’t recommend. But overall the place is very nice.

The resort is gorgeous and comfortable. The staff are wonderful, except for the person who checked us in. Jody put us in the wrong room and then made a snarky comment about my husband's shirt. Regan, Daniel, and Steve are marvelous and made the whole stay delightful. Thank you!

Champagne at check-in was just the beginning of a weekend treated well. Enjoyed the sky bar at the hotel and restaurants down the hill. Only negative was fireplace in our king suite did not work.

Elegant and beautiful!

Very pleased from the moment we arrived with a glass of champagne being offered while we waited just a few minutes to check in. Valet parking was wonderful! The room was spacious, clean and very beautiful and comfortable, and the added benefit of cookies and mints on our pillow was wonderful! The food was AMAZING! Be sure to try the french toast! We will recommend to all our friends when visiting Helen, Georgia.

The staff was wonderful, the room was clean & comfortable. Would really like to see the decor embrace the name, I love history and the items chosen to decorate are just not in line. They are medieval generic and not Norse as the name would suggest.

Very disappointed!

Disappointed in the room. It was no more nicer than much lower price hotels. I was very shocked at the 100.00 fee charged for my 4lb service dog. He is fully trained and stayed in his kennel the whole time. We were charged for drinks from the bar that we did not get. Very pretty but not worth the price.

Our stay was lovely. The staff was extremely courteous and warm. The room was clean, spacious, and set the tone for a nice quiet getaway from the daily hustle and bustle of everyday life.
