The most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. We wanted to put it in the suitcase and take it home with us. Also, the staff was so accommodating, the location very convenient to great shops and eateries (though there is a bit of a climb at the very end to get into the entrance) and the neighborhood lovely was beautiful views. One of the best places we stayed in our month in Australia.

Not only is this a beautiful historic property, the staff was wonderful. We arrived without our luggage. They supplied us with necessities, including a universal adapter to keep my phone charged while waiting to hear about our luggage, but extended our stay into the weekend. They couldn't have been nicer.

I was disappointed with the quality of the rooms, not soundproof at all so could hear my neighbours tv and any movement out in the hallways/void as its echos up the opening. I wont book this hotel agsin but will book their other accommodation

Outstanding property, staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Just around the corner from Salamanca Market and the waterfront with so many restaurants to choose. Definitely recommend the Hotel, I will definitely be coming back.

Excellent location to walk for food and shopping. The art collective shops were the best I’ve seen. Everything you need at this location. Parking availability a real plus. The basic King room is ok, just bathroom needed a bit of work, bath/shower arrangement was slippery and dated set up.

Loved the setting of Lenna. Lived in Tasmania for 52 years and always wanted to stay however the one thing I feel let it down was the rooms. Bathrooms fine but the actual sitting area and bedroom needs refurbishment The brown really dated it unfortunately but the combining of the old and the new buildings was so very well done The parking for Salamanca Market and walking distance wonderful as it was to the restaurants nearby UPDATE THE BEDROOM AND SITTING AREA AND IT WOULD GET A 10 FROM US However we did enjoy our stay and coming back to what used to be our tiny island home for many years

This hotel was a big step up from our usual accommodations. Touristy location with plenty of coffee and restaurant choices near by. Friendly people. Short walk to hop.on hop off bus. Much to do in the area. Plenty of opportuities to eat fresh local seafood and steaks.

Loved our stay here. Very close to Salamanca Place with plenty of restaurants to choose from as well as being able to walk to the market. Room was huge with a beautiful view over the harbour. Off street secure parking was a bonus as well.

Property is a beautiful historic building. In a fabulous spot around the corner from Salamanca Place and bakeries in Battery Point. Staff were friendly and professional. Room was clean with a great view of Mt Wellington and the snow that fell overnight. Totally recommend.
