We were on a smoking floor that smelled like a ashtray. The smell was overwhelmingly, we had to buy a deodorizing spray and still the smell was terrible. Our hair and clothes even smelled like smoke when we got home.

Room was clean, fun property. However, the pool in our building was closed and the pool in the players inn was quite dirty / not useable — it was moldy. I was also disappointed that the property does not have recycling bins.

Casino, room, restaurant, staff all 5 stars! But, when it came to check out this morning, the one attendant at the front desk was on the phone (trying to fix a card not working)….i was the only one there. I waited 7 minutes, with absolutely no acknowledgment, zero, nothing. I kindly asked, “excuse me, is this where I check out?” Without getting off the phone, she said “you don’t need to formally check out, just drop your card. You couldn’t just left it in the room.” She went back to leaning in her chair, and didn’t look back. I understand sometimes people have bad days, busy days, all that stuff…but I have never had anyone in from a hotel (any staff, room service, front desk, manager, waiter…) be unprofessional and basically dismissive. Again, everything else about our stay was 110%, but the check out was not.

The room walls were paper thin that I could hear people having sex in the next room, I could hear them in the shower and I could almost fully hear their conversation and I was Not eavesdropping by any means! The rooms were older and seemed aged and outdated especially the bathroom. Then I asked for a late checkout and was told they don’t do that anymore and I called my cousin who was also on the same floor and he got late checkout! So I called back and explained I just spoke to my cousin on this floor and he got a late checkout?!? Then she changed it to they don’t do that anymore to they only do 2 rooms a floor for late check out?!! Why was I lied to in the beginning anyway if that was the truth?? Or was any of it the truth? They also had no tooth brushes, my husband forgot his and the 24hr snack shop (overpriced) had none left either but I’m sure the actual casino side would have had it and hopefully gives better service to a first time customer. My sister lives there and I had planned on visiting again but I more than likely i wouldnt stay again

The hot tub was not operational and did not know this until checking in which was not pleased as this was the reason we booked the hotel to use the hot tub. The pool was not clean and our room behind the dresser there was dirty items left from previous guest. The room next to us was very loud and disturbing for most of the night. We asked if we could use the hot tub at the main hotel since players inn hot tub was not running and we were told no because we were players in guest, it should be allowed IF one of the hotels items are not working.
