Very family friendly, great pool, multiple fire pit for roasting marshmallows, indoor heated water park, arcade games. There is a cafe, a gift shop, a bar and restaurant with a door and out in the center of the resort where there is fire piths, a ballroom inside for free dance lessons. There is free live music multiple times per day, and much more activities to keep families with young kids entertained. There is a text through out the day alerting for the activities. If you don’t have a car and want to go anywhere, the resort offers shuttle services to drop you off anywhere in town and pick you up.

The front desk staff were great! They were so welcoming! The Margarita upon arrival was a nice touch. We have a balcony room and are a little disappointed that the balcony overlooks storage containers. I know noticed it was hard to get a seat at the pool, for such a big property, they do not have a lot of pool chairs. However, there are horrible riptides at the beach this weekend so that may be the reason why so many people are at the pool.

I really was hopeful I could give 5 stars after our stay, but as you can see that’s not the case. From the start you’re charged $50 per night resort fee & $15 room charge a night. We stayed for two nights so that should be roughly $130 with a little more for tax- we have a hold for $214 on our card so that’s annoying off the bat. The resort fee is ridiculous when nothing is offered that you can’t get from a hotel or even motel down the road (you might actually have a better time there)! The beds were hard as a rock, “quiet hours” aren’t enforced (checked out by 8am this am due to being up all night listening to the people next to us all night. The water park isn’t worth what they charge, we were able to go for a total of 30 minutes and my son was purple for two hours after from it being unbelievably cold. I’m really bummed we paid so much for a sub par stay…. We have stayed at other margaritaville’s and this doesn’t even compare… this is more comparable to a normal hotel at best.

The staff could have been more informative during check in. They ran out of maps and didn't tell us about activities, the pool, the waterpark, the shuttle etc... We did find everything on our own and the grounds/room were awesome but some staff could not answer our questions. We did receive texts about activities at night- which was helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
